Started out just by shooting what I saw as I saw it. Never had any formal training, have mostly been self-taught with the exception of a little guidance from a friend as I started to occasionally shoot models.
For as long as I can remember, photography has been a passion of mine. I have collections of photographs of things I've seen, places I've been and people I've known from the mid-1990s up to the present day. I never really thought that it was as much of a passion until someone once asked me "What if you just stopped taking pictures? Put your energy into something else." I had been spending a lot of time asking myself the typical 'adult questions' that everyone asks themselves at some point in their life: What is my life's pursuit? What is that one 'thing' that I am passionate about? That simple question that someone else had asked me broke my heart. The idea of never holding a camera and taking a photograph again was a scary and heartbreaking notion. But it helped me to understand that photography was indeed my passion. My dream to chase.
So here goes... here is my work.
