Hugh is so wonderful to work with!

We shot for a second time after a few years, and this time I travelled to stay at his lovely home. I was welcomed instantly on my arrival, was very well looked after and offered food and drink to keep me going (including the tastiest homemade flapjack by his wife!).

In the evening we made great use of the beautiful woodland area on the grounds, as well as his studio space. I loved seeing the shots as we went along, as well as viewing them all at the end of the day and picking out a few favourites. He's got such a great eye for unique shots, and always finds beauty in the candid and non-posed moments.

We ventured into the countryside on our second day, making wonderful use of rocks and the landscape. Hugh was always attentive, making sure I was warm enough and comfortable the whole time. We came away with some honestly stunning images, I'm so pleased with the outcome.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend working with Hugh.

Recently, I had the pleasure of meeting with Huw, and what an absolute joy it was!

Upon arriving at his picturesque home nestled in the captivating Welsh countryside, Huw and his partner welcomed me and gave me a tour of the beautiful surroundings.

Their hospitality was truly exceptional. From the outset, they made me feel completely at ease, offering me food and drink before starting our shoot, while I got acquainted with the dogs and cats who came to say hello.

We then began shooting in his well-equipped studio. There, we experimented with various setups, utilizing intriguing props like rings and hanging ropes. The results? Simply breathtaking! After we transitioned into the garden, We embarked on a leisurely stroll around his enchanting farm, where we shot in a magical forest location and got some stunning shots.

In the evening I was treated to a wonderful and heartwarming meal cooked by his wife, I felt truly at home and welcomed.

The following day, our photo session commenced, and Huw truly exceeded expectations. In the morning, we traversed into the garden, where Huw caught some amazing shots as I posed in the ethereal morning light. Then we ventured into the sprawling countryside, capturing stunning outdoor portraits and dynamic shapes. Huw works quickly and efficiently, I’m beyond impressed by his ability to capture beautiful candid moments while using the landscape and light to his best advantage. Throughout the entire process, I felt utterly relaxed, the shoot flew by and I was sad to leave when Huw kindly dropped me off at the station.

Beyond being an immensely talented photographer, Huw is a remarkable individual in every sense. Engaging in thought-provoking conversations, his intellect shone brightly. Genuine, grounded, and caring, I wholeheartedly recommend Huw!

Fretters

I have had a delightful shoot with Huw recently! Huw and his wife welcomed me into their home after a long drive to the stunning Welsh countryside. They were the perfect hosts! They both made me feel comfortable right from the start and even had a delicious homemade meal ready and waiting on my arrival!

The next day we started shooting and Huw did not disappoint. We started having a stroll around his farm making the most of the natural morning light, then proceeded to his home studio where we shot using his rings and rope hanging from the ceiling. The results were awesome! Later in the afternoon we explored the countryside and shot some outdoor portraits and shapes. I felt at ease all throughout the day and the time seemed to just whiz by!

Huw is a wonderful photographer, but more than that, a wonderful person as a whole. He is a very intelligent individual which sparked many interesting conversations along the way. He is very honest and down to earth and I personally would highly recommend! I look forward to the next one!

What a lovely sunny day for a magical forest location shoot in the heart of Wales!

This was our first time working together which seems to flow quite naturally, working between a variety of forest landscapes to capture many images and videos in the beautiful surroundings.

Huw is down to earth, professional and full of interesting conversations. It was a delight to work together and we have already discussed planning our 2nd shoot together!

After a long time in the pipeline (thanks to covid!), Hugh and I finally got to shoot together! We shot at my home for half a day and the time flew by whilst we shot a whole range of sets in art due style. We also experimented with both photographic film and video, which is always both fascinating to learn from and push the comfort zones! I can’t wait to see the outcomes of our work and I hope to work with Hugh again in the near future 😊

What a pleasure shot with Hugh! Can't recommend him enough.

He drove 5 hours to shoot at my place in London, and we got so lucky that we chose that day because it was so bright and sunny.

He took stunning shots from the beginning to the end of the day, we worked for 4 hours mostly in my bedroom and we could go on forever despite the limited space.

He's a really nice and lovely person, very interested in create a good comunication and put feelings in the images.

We create an amazing connection that I don't create that often with a photographer, so I hope to work again together really soon!

I’ve lost count of the amount of times that I’ve worked with Huw over the last few years. That makes me pretty lucky :)

Working with Huw is always a wonderful adventure. This time we took a woodland tour and then went to his delightful farm where I mostly ate biscuits and played with the animals.

We also took a few pictures. Of course Huw takes great pictures, but he also always captures those magical spontaneous moments which I love!

Was delighted to finally have the opportunity to shoot with Hugh, after having been trying to sort something for a while. He took the massive feat of driving all the way to the Lakes to shoot with me!

He was very easy to get along with and work with. I was completely comfortable and at ease the whole time, and we were continually bouncing ideas between each other, creating some awesome images.

He's very talented and has a great eye for what shots to try out and poses to try. I'm so happy with the images that have come from our wonderful shoot so far, and definitely hope to shoot together again in the future!

So so please I got the chance to work with Huw again, and I now remember why I enjoyed it so much the first time. His home and family are so gorgeous and welcoming, he is full of so much creativity as well as letting me have some input.

The shots we achieved are so lovely and I think we are both proud of them.

Huw and I worked together for the first time this weekend and I sincerely hope we can shoot together again. :) I thoroughly enjoyed being in his company: He has a witty sense of humour and quirky/candid shooting style -- which resulted in lots of unique and even hilarious and downright daft images! :P This kind of approach really challenges models to be as present as possible, to engage with the environment they're in, and not just simply go through the motions which makes the shoot experience very special. Huw is fun and refreshing to work with, as well as a caring and hospitable person. I would jump at the opportunity to work with him again and recommend him highly. Thank you Huw! :)

I had the pleasure of working with Huw for the weekend in wales. The weather was quite poor but that didn’t stop us from getting amazing shots! Huw was very clear with his directions when needed and we just bounced ideas off of each other. I think we made a great team. The photos were amazing and I even got to watch him edit a few whilst I was there. When the weather is bad you can shoot in his lovely warm studio. Him and his wife made me feel very welcome and did all his dogs! Huw was very accommodating and made sure I was always well fed and had plenty to drink.

I highly recommend Huw to any model new or highly experienced.

I'm so happy to be able to say that I've had the pleasure of working with Huw and I recommend him to anyone! I can hand-on-heart say that our shoot was by far my favourite shoot that I've every had the privilege of being part of. :)

Working with Huw was an absolute joy throughout, from our very first exchange on PP, to our goodbyes at the train station, Huw was professional, polite and a bloody good photographer to say the least!

Running up to the shoot Huw was organised, prompt to respond and an all-round great communicator which made me feel safe and assured. We collaborated on ideas and styles, creating some truly stunning sets that I think we were both absolutely delighted with.

As I had a 5 hour journey from Nottingham, Huw kindly put me up for the night in his lovely home. Huw made me feel so welcome, so at home and just so happy surrounded by his gorgeous animals, his lovely daughter and the delicious food they cooked for me.

I cannot wait to see the images from our shoot and I sincerely hope that we have the chance to work together again.

After my first shoot with Huw I can say he is an absolute pleasure to work with, full of ideas, we achieved some really beautiful results. We didn’t get through everything we wanted to but that just gives us an excuse to shoot again!

It was so nice working with Huw, he made sure i was warm, fed and as a whole just made me feel comfortable. My train got delayed and he was kind enough to drive me home all the way from Carmarthen to Cardiff. I am very happy with the photos we produced and can't wait to see all of them! This was my third shoot with Hugh.. We went adventuring for a day in his Land Rover exploring the forests and wilderness of Wales. Hugh found some beautiful little places to shoot and he can even boil water and make a decent hot cup of coffee in the back of his vehicle.

I've learned that shoots with Hugh are always totally relaxed, full of fun and good conversation and probably most importantly create awesome images.

I'm very glad that I live in Wales and get the opportunity to work with Hugh :)

Another brilliant shoot with Hugh :)

This time at his studio which surprisingly isn't full of rocks. It was a lovely relaxed day shooting some quite natural studio portraits and some nudes which both looked ace, and I got to drink coffee, eat soup, and see all of the animals at Hugh's place. It was awesome! The studio was also nice and warm with two heaters. Yippee!

I really enjoy working with Hugh and I'm looking forward to what we do next :)
