Canon 30D, normal 3 metre USB cable for the camera, OTG Cable USB Adapter Android Micro USB (about £7 from Amazon), Android tablet or phone.
I used a Samsung Galaxy SM-T295 Tab A 8.0" (2019) 32GB - £115 used from CEX. https://uk.webuy.com/product-detail/?id=stabsamsmt295bunlb&categoryName=tablets-android&superCatName=computing&title=samsung-galaxy-sm-t295-tab-a-8.0%22-%282019%29-32gb-black-unlocked-b.
Most Android tablets and Android phones should do it (although the OTG bit isn't built into Android).
Plugged in the camera, tablet asked if I wanted to import the photos (I used medium jpg files as well as raw - it imported the jpg).
Couple of minutes later there they are in the Gallery app. No control of the camera, but it lets you share and discuss from a safe distance.
It also works with a 5D3, so it should work with most cameras.
