hobbs photography

I am just starting out as a photographer i have loved taking photos from an early age i have done family events IE birthday parties christenings i think its now time to take the next step and start to do studio work and build a portfolio of my own im not looking to make money just to do something i love to do.

I would love to have any feedback on any of my photos i have on PP they are all unedited at the moment as i have not yet started to learn how to edit but that is the next step.

I am interested in doing event work and would like to be a second photographer at events or even a wedding so if anyone is doing any group studio events or car/bike shows racing events even a wedding or anything like that that wouldn't mind doing a bit of mentoring i would be very thankful for any info on how to be a part of the event. 

If anyone could offer any friendly advice it would be welcome on what kit is best and where to get it from many thanks.
