Creative Lead & Hair Stylist, Professional Studio and Location Shoot, Southampton – August 2016

I lead this shoot working with a mix of professional models and clients from New London Salon. Included on the shoot were 3 photographers and 2 make-up artists.

Hair Stylist, Professional Location Shoot, Winchester – March 2014

Themed ‘A Stolen Location’ I was Hair Stylist on this shoot working with 1 professional female model and 3 photographers.

Creative Lead & Hair Stylist, Professional Studio Shoot, Romsey – August 2013

This ‘Dark vs Light’ theme shoot included 2 photographers, 3 females and 1 male professional models, a make-up artist. I was Hair Stylist and creatively produced and lead the shoot.

Creative Lead & Hair Stylist, Professional Studio Shoot, Stirling, Scotland – November 2017

A single day shoot with a different range of looks working with 1 female professional model and 5 photographers. A challenging and rewarding shoot, it called for a quick turnover of several hairstyles throughout the day.

Themed ‘60’s and 70’s turns modern’ this is my favourite shoot to date. I creatively produced the

shoot and styled the hair for several models.

Hayley J Salkeld has been co-owner of New London Salon, 30 Carlton Place, Southampton from April 2013 to November 2017. The salon was an outstanding success, unfortunately the lease ran its course and they sadly closed the salon doors for the last time.

Previously to the New London Salon, she worked for 16 years at Valentinos Hair Design, situated in Bedford place. Hayley carried out her training at Paul Lights Hair in Romsey

She is highly qualified with her NVQ 1 , 2 and 3 in hairdressing, A2 in [url removed] the last five years Hayley has found a passion for the photography world, when she was invited to carry out the hair and beauty on numerous photo shoots. Hayley has also arranged her own shoots, working along side talented photographers.

Her skills, drive and determination resulted in images being published in Creative Portrait Magazines, wall art work for a salon, and an image being bought and printed on a T-shirt, sold by Retro Classic Clothing.

Hayley’s love, passion and hard work is finally getting the recognition it deserves, as she looks forward to a future, in not only the photography scene locally, but a jet setting career as a professional photography hair stylist, growing her portfolio, her skills and knowledge.

Hayley is looking forward to a new exciting future working at Arizona Salon, located in Carlton Place, Southampton. She is also available for freelance Assessing within other salons.
