Taken with a Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 75mm f/1.5 (1958), that has become renowned for its swirly bokeh, center sharpness, soft corners and its ability to produce a so-called “3D Pop,” whereby an object centered in the image seems to almost burst out from the background. Biotar lenses were developed for movie cameras originally.
