I had the pleasure to work with Heather on a shoot with the Pix Factory for the first time last week. The Pix Factory were on my must list of creatives to work with and I was absolutely delighted that our plans became reality!

Heather kindly travelled to me and had plenty of ideas on how to bring our planned looks to life. I was really impressed with her talent and ability to think on her feet and create a stunning look in the matter of minutes. The look Heather created was exactly what I wanted to get out of the shoot and we agreed that it had The Pix Factory written all over it! Last but not least, Heather has a lovely personality and is really fun to be around.

I had a fabulous day and totally enjoyed our shoot. I really look forward to working with Heather again in the future and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough to other creatives.

Heather arrived this morning at my home with Kev aka The pix factory.

As a MUA she's very polite and relaxed, she's very skilled and I did really love the results of her make-up composition.

However she didn't only work as a MUA today she climbed up down with us in quite difficult locations, assisted with lighting and set up including moving rubbish from the background, and drove to the locations I had suggested.

I recommend her to anyone 100% both as a MUA and photographic assistant.

Heather did my makeup (and that of 3 other models) for a group shoot organised by Dag Nammett at The Natural Light Studio. She is a really lovely lady to work with, great to chat with and extremely talented as a MUA. She did a lovely beauty look for me, and was about the entire day to do touch-ups and a few totally new looks on some of the other models though the day too! Very highly recommended if you are looking for a skilled and reliable MUA, hope to work with Heather again myself :)

Working with Heather is always a great experience, because not only do you get a top notch make up artist who consistently delivers high quality work, but you also get a genuinely lovely, easy going, positive person. This shoot was a four model, four photographer full day shoot, with Heather as the sole MUA; she worked like a trojan all day, providing fresh look after fresh look, taking ideas and concepts and making them her own. Fully recommended, as always!

This was my first time working with Heather - it was a group shoot of 4 photographers and models, so we kept her really busy :)

Heather did a fantastic job on the day, working very hard to ensure that the photographers got the look they were looking for on each model, so that works out to be quite a lot of changes during the day - but, Heather took this in her stride.

I would definitely recommend working with Heather and I look forward to working with her again.

ps. I will definitely keep an eye on the pudding next time we shoot - I could tell you were very tempted lol

I got the chance to work with the awesome Heather Akerman today as part of an organised group shoot involving 4 photographers and 4 models.

This lady is funny, creative and very talented. Pre-comms regarding looks and themes were excellent. Heather was the sole MUA and she worked really hard on all four of us models. Producing her own take on 'fab-lus' looks!

I went for a very colourful theme, to a natural beauty to a steampunk look and back again! WOW

Working with this lady is always a pleasure and I will reiterate again that both Heath and her husband Kev have become firm friends.

I worked with Heather on the group shoot at the Natural Light Studio and boy this woman is a machine! She had 4 models to make up, all with very different features and styles throughout the day and she did a fantasic job with us all. She was instrumental in getting everyone ready in an appropriate order depending on who was shooting what and with who and she barely sat down all day.

I highly recommend Heather for any individual make up requirements or for big shoots such as the one we had as she did a marvelous job, had some fantastic ideas/concepts to get the 'look' required and really is just such a lovely and easygoing person to have on board. What more could you ask for?

If you are need of a MUA look no further because you found exactly what you were searching for in Heather.

I worked with heather on a group shoot at Natural Light.She had her work cut out with me anyway but waking up with a massive spot on my forehead on the day of the shoot made it worse but she managed to make me look ok!

Heather is a lovely chatty lady and we definetly had a good natter.Her work is amazing and I really wish I could do make up like that!

I'd highly recommend Heather to any photographers or models as her make up skills are top notch.

Had the chance to work with Heather at a group shoot organized at the natural light studio. I personally din't give her much in the way of a challenge for my shoots, but she coped with 4 models and 3 other togs as well as helping out with shots too. She's very professional, very quick and good fun to be around. I would highly recommend her and will call on her services again should I need them.

Worked with Heather again yesterday as part of the awesome team that is The Pix Factory, We had discussed prior to shoot ideas that I specifically had in mind and she delivered, hell yes she did!

I wanted an androgynous look first off, followed by a more fashion set with dramatic lips and finally ending with a 'Robert Palmer' look- all 3 looks were dramatic, none phased her and I was blown away with the results. As ever, Heather was great fun was chatty and offered lots of advice about my skin!

When asked, she was able to make fantastic suggestions about what colour worked best with each outfit and she also took some great behind the scenes images.

Highly recommended, I look forward to the next shoot! :)

Heather is always a pleasure to work with and demonstrated her great skills as a make up artist on me during this recent shoot. The makeup looked great in real life and on camera. Heather is so friendly perfeshtional i absolutely love her makeup when it comes to makeup she will do anything I'm happy with I'm very easy so don't bother me i love mad and creative so she will always have fab idea's and make you look amazing always has everything with her never forgets nothing so i 💯 percent recommend Heather x

Heather did my makeup for today's shoot and it is amazing! Wish I could look like this every day haha. Instantly hit it off with her. Always great when you have a lot in common with someone.
