I had an incredible last minute shoot with Ian today! He'd been recommend to me by Helen Diaz and I'm so glad I got in touch.

Everything about Ian's way of working is quirky and utterly joyful. I had a great time letting go and channelling my inner ghost/gremlin in front of the camera. It was also lovely to chat about photography and our joint passion for film, especially vintage Polaroids, as well as fine art photography in general.

Ian is absolutely one of the most interesting artists I have worked with here in Scotland and I would highly recommend him to all like-minded creatives! :)

I absolutely ADORED working with Ian! What a meeting of two eccentric minds!

Ian lives in an old hermitage and the building he is currently living in I found so fascinating and spiritual. It definitely had a very unique atmosphere with its stained glass windows and quirky layout. Walking through it is like taking a step back in time... There is also so much mystery surrounding the space, as there is with Ian. When you work at someone else's home for the first time, its always very unknown, but I absolutely adored it.

I was instantly made to feel very welcome and made my way through a few cuppas prior to the shoot. Ian is kind, respectful and so laid back, allowing for plenty of breaks. Time stands still.

Ian is a true artist and like myself adores Film and Polaroid and shooting with the natural light available. I loved Ians approach to photography... unposed, shooting the subject and getting to know the person behind the camera. He is very quirky, brilliant and unique. I wished I could have stayed longer with Ian and his lovely partner (aka "the cat lady!") It was such an enjoyable shoot for me.

I really look forward to the future uploads- the results on the day from the polaroids were beautiful.

Highly recommended to all models and creatives. Until the next time!

Wow! One of my best shoots in 2019 so far!!

Ian was great- he gave me total artistic freedom to move around and pose freely. I was very happy to work with such an experienced and talented film photographer. I felt super comfortable and Ian was very easy to talk to and had some interesting life stories. Highly recommended! You will get some arty pictures that stand out from the rest!

Had a fab second shoot with Ian shooting film in natural light. Ian was teaching film photography to 2 photographers. It was fun to work in a group and try some weird and wonderful ideas. I would highly recommend him to all creatives. Looking forward to our next shoot :)

Had my first shoot with Ian yesterday :) we had been speaking about shooting for a while. It was great to work with someone that only uses film cameras. The Polaroids I saw looked super cool. Ian was easy to work with and had a clear idea of what he wanted to acheive. Highly recommend him :) hopefully we can shoot again in the future.

Such a lovely, creative shoot with Ian on my recent trip north!

It was really refreshing to work with someone who solely shoots film and doesn't use digital to check what they are getting first. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and slightly wacky shoot, never a dull moment and I really enjoyed myself!

I was looked after at all times and generally had a lovely morning :)

Highly recommended by me and hope to see him again on my next visit!

I worked with Ian for the first time today whilst on my Scotland tour and wow did I have an amazing shoot! It really has been one of the most fun and enjoyable shoots since I have been modelling!

Ian turned up on time and his communications were great! He is also a very nice person and so so easy to get along with! On top of that he is a very talented man with bags of ideas and creativity!

He has some out there ideas that just work and so many gorgeous cameras! The images we got were amazing! If you want to work with someone who is lovely and very talented then Ian is your man!

I would 200% recommend Ian and would jump at the chance to work with him again! Thank you!

Had an interesting shoot whilst in Edinburgh on tour, Every shot was taken with quite a few different cameras, getting different variations of pictures, Very interesting photographer liking to create a shot! Respectable person and could recommend him to models, Hope you got some great shots!

had a great shoot, with headcleaner. both he and his photographer friend were very helpful and friendly. I had the pleasure of choosing the location this time and I got to model somewhere I have always wanted to which was great. I got some stunning images to use for my portfolio afterwards as well, thankyou!

I had a very fun and creative shoot with Headcleaner and his partner in crime B in 2012. His head is just bursting with ideas and has a great artistic vision. He is simply lovely to be around and a pleasure to work with. I hope to shoot with him again in the future and would highly recommend him to other models!
