I have known James now for a few years, and can honestly say he’s is one of the loveliest guys I have ever met. James is a stand out professional, with a great eye for photography, each time we shoot his skills get better and better! I had the opportunity to shoot with him for a week in Portugal on Photography Holidays trip, we get on so well, having a laugh every day, James always ensures you are looked after, and that you are comfortable. We create magic together, me and James have a very similar eye so our collaboration is always so smooth. He allows you to pose freely and is always keen to add in his ideas too during the shoot :) our images are STUNNING!

I class James as part of my family, and cannot wait to shoot with him again in the not so distant future :)

Would 1000000% recommend anyone to work with James, you will not regret doing so

I’ve had the pleasure to work with James on the Photography Holidays Abroad trip for a second year in the Algarve. Since the first year, James has really focused on his photography skills and I can honestly say we have created some amazing images – I can really tell how much he’s worked on this within a year. He gives clear direction where needed but also likes to collaborate with you as well with poses and ideas that you have yourself. We always have a laugh, I classed James as a good friend last year but now I class James as family. I can't wait to work with him again next year, he is one to shoot with and highly recommended.

I met James on a model trip to the Algarve. He was one of the first photographers I met there and he was all hands on helping everyone with a smile on his face. Nothing was too much trouble for James.

We got some great shots and shared a few good laughs too. Thanks for helping me when I was struggling with my mobility I will always be grateful for the help and compassion you showed me.

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

James contacted us to arrange a shoot here at Basford Hurst Cottage with both Miss C and SJ Jinx. James came to visit Basford a few days before the booking to have a look around and to plan his shoot, this was very helpful for when shoot day arrived as he had a good idea of some of the shots he wanted to create.

All pre comms with James were great and he made sure to keep us up to date with any changes as required. On the shoot day itself he arrived on time with everything he needed for the day.

James is polite, friendly and easy to have around. He is clearly a very talented photographer and he worked very well alongside both models to collaborate and produce many stunning images!!

We would highly reccomend James and really look forward to seeing him again soon!! Safe travels!!

James contacted me to say he was visiting from abroad and was keen to work with me at Basford Hurst Cottage - Of course, having seen his wonderful portfolio I was absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to work with him!! :) All pre comms with James were great, and he was very relaxed about the shoot and any plans for outfits / sets / moods etc.

Working with James on shoot day was a breeze!! We both realised very quickly that we were far too easy going when coming up with ideas but that meant we collaborated really well on a number of ideas and James was happy to go along with some of my weird suggestions but also brought lots of inspiration of his own!! He was happy for me to pose freely which is always appreciated!!

During the shot we worked though some classy dresses, a more grungy rock type look and some beautiful art nude work in the natural light. Every time James worked really hard to capture some wonderful images and the back of the camera looked amazing!!!

I am so excited to see the finished edits and I would highly reccomend James!!! Thank you so much and I look forward to seeing you again soon!!

James was so professional, friendly and fun. He had so many creative ideas when shooting in various locations with different outfits. James has such a relaxed and chilled way of working which creates such a lovely atmosphere to shoot in. James captured some really fantastic shots and I have so many favourites!

Me and James have been talking for a year now, and he was finally able to join me in Portugal recently shooting for a week in the sun!

Photography Holidays

James was interested in coming along to the Algarve trip last year however he couldn't make it, this year we was in touch and he asked to come along, though unsure about the trip and not knowing what to expect, we had several conversations and he even spoke to one of the models (pebbles) a few times about the trip, he then said he would love to come along. He arrived at the villa for us to see what was a genuine down to earth guy he is and as the week went by he fit in perfectly with everyone. He gave all the models full respect, and they spoke about ideas to shoot resulting him coming away with stunning images to one of which has just received an FPI so well done the both of you. James enjoyed it so much he has already said he's returning in 2024, I'm so glad he is. Top guy 100% recommended.
