References for Harris

I recently had the absolute pleasure of doing a maternity shoot with the gorgeous and delightful Harris, henceforth referred to as Jo.

Even though it was our first shoot together I have to say that it just felt natural ... like we'd worked together many times before. I warned Jo that I might slip into doing portraits rather than the maternity type stuff that we were supposed to be shooting (I do love taking portraits!! :) ) - and I confess I did end up getting quite a lot of portraits too - but we also got some really lovely maternity pics :)

The shoot was on location at the Stony Nature reserve and right from word go it had real collaborative feel. Jo is brill in all respects - posing like a good 'un, pointing out opportunities as we walked around and didn't even mind being metaphorically thrown in bushes, dropped in the long grass or propped up against trees.

As well as stunning looking, Jo is an all around good egg and I have no problem or reservation in recommending her wholeheartedly!

Harris came to Buckingham Camera Club and did an evening photoshoot with us - two different setups and many different levels of photographer. Everyone in the club had a great time, and Harris was easy and fun to work with and bought along some great ideas of her own to the evening. Thanks for coming, we'll see you again soon hopefully!

Harris and I concocted a shoot while at the Reading social before Christmas.

We had a trip to my trusty incinerator ('Harris, i'm taking you up the incinerator love') said I.... I like to think she said 'Wahey!!!' in her head, but I think I possibly got a 'Hmmmm!' instead ;)

We got the fantastic MUA Kate Gordon involved too and headed off to my favourite grotty place, where the light is usually awesome, bits of the roof tend to fall off, and where somebody had very kindly scratched 'Golding smells' onto part of the machinery! Cheers!

Harris brought the coolest dress with her to shoot in that she had liberated from somewhere, and Kate did the most amazing make up, which involved application by flicking it off a toothbrush. We got joined for a while by Freelance Bob who brought us along some cool ice lights and some smoke in a can that we used for a few shots, and then the rest of the shooting was using the available natural light.

Shes loads of fun, looks awesome, and it went really really quickly, so I hope we can do some more another time. The images turned out to be a mixture of beauty, weirdness, colour and mono, dark and moody one minute and bright and beautiful the next, fantastic!

I'd happily recommend Harris to absolutely everyone, and shes welcome back any time she feels like it :)

Jo is in her element when in front of the camera. Her highly creative personality, accuracy, presentation and attention to detail is second to none. Jo has great presence, is self-assured and I'm becoming a bit addicted to shooting with her, having many ideas in the pipeline and not enough time to realise them. The duo shoot last weekend with DarrenS worked brilliantly. The two of them are so on the same wave-length, the shots were organised and captured sooner than I had expected. Jo is classy, elegant and so easy to work with that I hope to be doing more with her again soon :)

I thought I would leave Jo another little reference, I have shot with Jo about 4 times now and have loved every single shoot. Jo is so talented and lovely and of course absolutely stunning!

As a model Harris is extremely versatile, she is bloody gorgeous on any beauty shoot but also rocks the edgy look! She's easy and fun to work with but also very professional.

I'm so lucky to call her my friend and would recommend her to absolutely anyone!

I had a second amazing shoot with Harris, this time, running around a deserted airfield with a case, climbing rubble, basically living dangerously, with photographer KarenKK :-)

Harris, is very professional, classy, awesome, provides great input into the shoot, scene etc. Harris is fun to work with and there's always a giggle on the shoot :-) She pulled off the look well, for the setting we were going for, as always.

Ever since the first absolutely awesome shoot with Harris, I have been wanting to have another, and finally that chance came around and yet again, it was just amazing to work with her.

A group shoot along side Charley Payne and Ellie Kellam at Harris' own home, where she was just the most wonderful host, so incredibly patient while we got some awkward shots and just remained the most fun, upbeat model you could wish for. There were also two of us photographers on this shoot, and Harris handled this without any issue at all, alternating looks between us, and giving each time to shoot, and we already have some stunning results from the day.

Shooting with Harris is a true pleasure, not only is it fun and enjoyable from start to finish, but you are guaranteed some simply fabulous results! .. I really cannot wait for the next time I get to work with this truly wonderful model.

I love working with Jo. I've lost count at what number shoot this is, but I keep working with her because aside from being a great friend, she is a fantastic model!

This time we did a bath shoot which given the limitations of a bathroom, we managed to come away different sets and looks, showing Jo's talent at producing a range of emotions and themes.

I can highly recommend the awesomeness of Harris, if you get the chance to work with her then grab it with both hands!

Had a fantastic impromptu shoot with Jo last week at Virtuosity Studios last weekend. I'm so glad I snapped up the change to work with Jo as I'd not worked with her before... I wasn't disappointed.

We got through a number of different looks and basically had a great time just playing.

Why work with Jo? Because she is awesome!

3rd time shooting with Jo. We had discussed an idea for some time and Jo was brilliant at bringing a range of suitable outfits and accessories, which suited the shoot perfectly. I was over the moon with the results.

If you shoot with Jo, you will not be disappointed! She is so enthusiastic and will get if it her all to get the best possible shots. On top of that, she is great to work with.

Looking forward to our next shoot together :)

Jo modelled for my workshop on Saturday, it was somewhat amazing to realise that it was almost exactly a year since we first worked together.

If you haven't worked with Jo then you are missing out. As my workshop model on Saturday she was fantastic (again). Looks elegant and happy to create and hold poses as workshop people practice their skills.

As we said on Saturday, we must shoot together again properly - it's been a year since our first shoot :-)

A long time coming wanted to shoot with her and finally had a fabulous shoot with Jo. Everything has been said about her but let me just reiterate that she is absolutely a fabulous model to work with. She listens, she interacts. suggests, and the quality of her portfolio is a tribute to her beauty and professionalism.

Loved every second of the 2 hours with her. Looking forward to make some more cool photos :-)

I worked with Jo on a Bridal shoot the other day and she was fantastic!

I think we got along really well and she is such a kind and lovely person with tons of personality. She is an amazing model, not to mention stunning and was really professional when it came down to taking the pictures! She had some great poses and communication before and after the shoot was great.

I can't wait to hopefully work with her again- HIGHLY recommended!

It's been a little over a week since I did a shoot with Joanna & I'me still buzzing! Jo is one truly amazing model who is so professional in her work, she is also one very kind & really down to earth,funny chatty young woman, we are hoping to work together again real soon, I can't wait, she really puts everything into the shoot( including laying flat out in a pool of freezing water!!!) can't thank you enough Jo. Jo had found waterfall in Wales that she wanted to shoot at, and I was happy she picked me to help her. we ended up with a team of 2 models and 2 photographers.

From the moment we first discussed the shoot to the end, Jo was professional, personable, engaging and creative. On the shoot itself Jo was amazing. not only did she do all her own make up to a good standard. she made herself ready for shoots really quickly wasting no time at all in being able to shoot, when shooting she would follow direction very well, moving effortless between shots to ensure she making adjustments needed. On the day she climbed tree's, mud slides, lay on pointed branches, scaled slippery waterfalls and lay motionless in a really cold rock pool all to get the shots needed and never once looked hesitant.

For me personally I have never has such a great haul of pics I want to use which is testament to Jo's ability!!

I've worked twice with Jo recently. Both shoots were very productive. Jo is extremely enthusiastic and she is really nice to work with. She is easy to get on with, yet she is very professional. Communication has been excellent and it has been easy sorting details out for the shoots. For both shoots, Jo has brought a good range of outfits that have suited the shoots really well. You should work with Jo, as you know you will always get 100%. I can't wait to work with Jo again on our next project :)
