Helen Diaz

I worked with Hans recently at a beautiful chateau in the South of France! Hans very kindly responded to a casting of mine and came along for the second half of the week- and what a character!

It was our first time working together so I am always a little nervous but I needn't have been with Hans, as from the offset we had instant rapport and banter! Hans is such a character- he is very direct and upfront (just like me, only with more added humour injected!) so we got on like a house on fire!

He was very laid back to work with, a complete gent on my shoot- and was very happy to shoot at my pace and open to suggestions. He also gave great direction where needed and I really love the results we achieved together on the shoot, especialley the natural light photography which was stunning. He also very kindly shared the photographs from the event with me which I really loved!

I really hope we get the chance to work together again in the future- whether home or abroad! Thanks Hans for a lovely week and making me laugh!! :) Highly recommended, Helen x

Hans came to shoot during a working holiday in a French chateau, he is a fun and enthusiastic photographer who has some fab ideas which are awesome to put into practice - I can recommend this photographer to models and photographers alike!

I shall be working with him again soon with Bad Dolly!

Hans is a respectful and personable photographer who knows what he wants to capture, he explained how he is early on so we got on well and got the images that he had in mind, with some fab lighting techniques to use the scenes in a cool way!

I wholeheartedly recommend this photographer to all models, as long as you're briefed before, Hans is a very complimentary and fun individual who is safe & good with his camera :)

I have to say as mentioned by Artemis that Hans scared me quite a bit in the beginning and we perhaps did not get off to the best start.

However, once we was in the flow of shooting, I realised I may have misinterpreted Han's demeanour and that he is actually a nice guy.

By the end I do think we got passed our differences and I do think we achieved good results. Han's knew exactly what he wanted, how to capture it and had creative ideas.

This was a very interesting shooting experience and maybe one day our paths will cross again.

Artemis Fauna

I have to be honest, Hans did scare me a bit when I first met him. Hans is very blunt, to the point and doesn't use flowery language. This can come across (to us British) as perhaps a little rude- so this did worry me at first.

HOWEVER- once I realised the language/ cultural differences I could see, deep down Hans was a nice guy! I even got him to smile :D

I only shot with Hans for an hour and I did tell him the above- and I think we did get a bit of banter going between us, which was nice. He complimented me and was happy to take on board the odd idea I had.

I did actually enjoy working with Hans, it was an experience! ;) We took some pretty cool images and I think Hans was happy with the results. I would be happy to work with Hans again in the future- I have told him we need to do it again some time. Can't wait to see them images! :)
