References for Hampson St Studio

I shot for the first time at Hampson St Studio during one of their Wednesday group nights while I was (relatively!) nearby. I was really glad a made the trip - friendly people and the studio is great. I love the amount of space and the infinity curve - plenty of lights and backgrounds to get the sort of look you are after, and a dedicated changing area for the models. Highly recommended!

Had my first shoot at Hampson St Studio. Martin is a very nice person and we all felt Welcome.

This was a fashion shoot and Martin was always there to help. The Studio has good facilities and lighting with lots of different possibilities.

We got the images that we wanted and I would definitely use the Studio again.

Had a great time on Martin's Fashion and Art Nude Lighting Workshop. Everything was explained clearly with plenty of time to put ideas into practice. Model Pebbles was brilliant.

This studio has it all!! Loads of lights, backgrounds, props.. you name it and it's probably there! Martin the studio owner was on hand and very helpful with all his advice and makes a wonderful brew as well :)

Definitely recommended, whatever you want to shoot.

Triple Exposure Photography

We had a shoot @ Hampson St Studios on Sat 28th Nov. This studio has a great set-up with lots of backgrounds and light to choose from. Martin was very helpful during the set up and was very pleasant to work with. The model we shot for loves the photos and was happy with changing facilities available.

Recommended to beginners and advanced photographers, we will be shooting at this studio again soon.

what can I say other than Martin has the best studio around, is a great guy and been and is a great mate. I love the studio. has all the lighting you need, good location and great infinity cove...you just have to wear socks when he paints it LOL

Fantastic studio! Clean, well organised, plenty of room and the best hot pot in Lancashire! Martin is genuinely lovely to deal with as well (unlike some!!) I had a minimal hand in organising a sell out day with 8 photographers. All I did was say "can I come?" And then rocked up on the day half hour before the shoot, perfect! What a legend.

First time shoot at the studio - great space with an infinity cove which works great. Equipment is plentiful and has numerous backdrops etc. Great changing/make up area too - all at a reasonable cost.

Martin is a friendly guy who is very knowledgeable about lighting and photography in general.

I would definitely recommend his studio.

While up North this weekend I got the chance to use Martin's studio for the day. Martin's a great guy, fully kitted out studio and I felt comfortable while there. Another studio I can add to my list when up North next. I highly recommend using Hampson St Studio!

I've just got back from an amazing shoot with a group of great photographers. Martin couldn't have been a better host, tea, coffee AND CHOCOLATE on arrival, felt truly spoilt. I hope to go to another group shoot with all the lovely gentlemen again, they made me and 'petras' feel comfortable and welcome straight away!

I've had the immense pleasure of shooting at Hampson Street on three separate occasions now (once on a club night and twice on shoots of my own).

Martin was a perfect host every time and he has taught me many invaluable tricks with regards to using studio lighting.

The studio is more than adequately equipped with a great variety of backdrops and lighting gear. The infinity curve is huge and I look forward to utilising it in a future shoot as my plans so far have not required it.

The hire prices are very reasonable given what is available and I would definitely recommend anyone from beginner to advanced to stop by for a brew and a chat with Martin.

i did a shoot at martin studio for the first time today the studio was well equipped with tea and coffee ready and a wide range of props and backgrounds to use. i would recommend anybody to use the studio i got some amazing results from it

Today i used Hampton St Studio for the first time.

It was great and Martin was laways there to help,with a quick knock on the office door he would appear.

Tea and coffee was in plentiful supply.

I look forward to shooting there again.

I worked at Martins studio during a tour last year.

Fantastic host, tea and biscuits always at hand! Lovely changing area for models and the studio itself is perfect. Alcove, plenty of lights, lots of space etc.

There was a small and rather lumpy incident which involved lots of crying and ice lollies on faces but I was looked after superbly :)

Highly recommended
