Hi, I am Jan – a photographer based just outside Copenhagen.
I have been working professionally in my own studio for nearly a decade, though my passion for photography began in my teenage years. Over the years, I have honed my craft and developed a specialization in studio photography. My primary focus areas are portraits, fashion, beauty, and some nude art.

Portraits and Beauty Photography

Capturing the essence of a person through portrait and beauty photography is one of my passions. I strive to highlight the individuality and unique beauty of each subject, focusing on their expressions, emotions, and personal stories. My aim is to create images that are not only visually stunning but also deeply personal and evocative.

 

Fashion Photography

My fashion photography is distinctly Nordic in style, characterized by minimalist aesthetics, clean lines, and a focus on natural beauty. I work closely with designers, models, and stylists to create images that showcase clothing and accessories in the most flattering and dynamic ways. My fashion shoots blend artistry with simplicity, ensuring that each photograph tells a compelling story of elegance and understated sophistication.

 

Nude Art Photography

Nude art photography is a powerful form of expression, where nudity serves as a tool to convey deeper meanings and artistic visions. I approach this genre with sensitivity and respect, ensuring that each image is created within a meaningful context that adds depth and significance. My goal is to use the human form to explore themes of vulnerability, strength, and beauty, producing images that are both thought-provoking and aesthetically pleasing.

My Workshops

Photography – and especially model photography – should be an enjoyable experience for everyone involved. To foster this environment, I regularly conduct workshops where the primary goal is to teach photographers effective communication with models. These workshops focus on both instructive guidance and appropriate behavior during shoots. 

While we cover technical aspects as needed, the emphasis is on unleashing creativity and ensuring a positive, collaborative experience. The result is not only beautiful photographs but also a fun and rewarding process for both photographers and models.

My Places

In real life, my 180 m² studio is designed to foster creativity and comfort. It features a spacious 110 m² shooting area, a well-equipped dressing room, and a cozy lounge. This environment allows me to create a relaxed and professional atmosphere for my clients, ensuring that each session is enjoyable and productive.
