Wow, what can I say that hasn't already been said about Hamish. I had the opportunity to work with him May 2021 and loved every minute of it and the amazing results so when he contacted me to say he was going to be at Inspire Studio with Ballerinaelle on 5th June I was tempted despite the long journey, then noticed he was also at the studio for solo day on 4th June so I knew I just had to make the effort and so glad I did. I was delighted that both ballet dancers and studio owner were thrilled with my take on Jubilee Celebrations with my knitted crown on choc oranges and Hamish & Eloise even took up a regal pose wearing the crowns lol

We had chatted before the shoot about some 'themes' and think we pretty much nailed most of them - so many to now sort through , show them and then do my edits

I highly recommend if you get the chance to work with Hamish TAKE IT ! I know I would love to work with him again if the opportunity arises

A first shoot with Hamish as part of a couple shoot with BethKate. The only “problem” I had was that he tended to nail the requested pose first time and so left me floundering for ideas! A great dancer/model and good company too. Also very understanding with a short-notice change to shoot times.

Can I start by saying this will be the easiest reference I've wrote, solely based on my huge awe of the man.

Firstly, I've wanted to shoot with Hamish for a while. Then meeting him, I could see in front of me why. He's SOOOO good at what he does. He's a kind, easily approachable, very handsome man. He made a, slightly intimated, me feel at ease, posed effortlessly and brought my photos to life.

His own portfolio is breathtaking, and one that when looking at, sells itself and how versatile he is - Dancing, stretching, posing, changing his look, but keeping his incredibly high standard throughout.

Absolutely delighted to shot with Hamish, and would again in a heartbeat.

He has a charismatic presence and timeless good looks that the camera loves, combined with his positive energy and “I’m up for anything” attitude makes him a dream to work with! An absolute dude. Hamish and the irreppressable Lee Hoy (they are Yin and Yang) almost saved an otherwise difficult themed event. Hamish is a talented model, dancer and actor. I only shot with him briefly but Hamish became Jay Gatsby. Not the dodgy dandy but the brooding man child obsessing over a woman who did not and could not exist. Hamish was charming and personable. He knew that he was working with amateurs and made a real effort to show interest and get the the lighting and poses right.

A man at the start of a glittering career. Catch him while you can still afford him.

Hamish is just great fun to work with. I worked with him on an event run by The Creativity Hub in a 1920s theme. He managed to pull off some great facial expressions and portray some great peaky blinder type characters for the shoot as well as this he managed to do some dance/movement work too. If you get the chance to work with him, go for it! You won't regret it, great poses, awesome dancer and all round fun guy to shoot with. Very friendly and mostly professional ;)

Highly recommended and definitely hope to work together again in the future. :)

I had a lovely four hour shoot with Hamish. Such a lovely soul to meet and photograph! We could have spent all day creating images. He turned up on time, ready with absolutely everything I had requested. Pre-communications where excellent and he is so professional and polite. He even helped me set up various backdrops and lighting.

I will definitely be arranging another shoot in the future, as I didn't make use of his incredible dance skills, as we mainly focused on creative portraiture work.

I had the pleasure of shooting with Hamlisch yesterday on a duo shoot set up by Dave T. It was our first time meeting and working together, but got a long immediately and also worked well together. After having shot a couple of characterisation sets, we moved onto the main focus of our shoot together which was dance, primarily lift work. I look forward to us hopefully working together again soon!

I had been looking for a male model for some time, with the aim of organising a duo shoot. Once I had seen Hamish's work, I was sure that he was the one. His portfolio really does speak for itself!

I partnered Hamish with Beth Kate, who I've worked with several times, and they proved to be a tremendous partnership. Hamish and Beth settled seamlessly into realising quite a wide range of ideas, starting with what I think of as 'storytelling', then moving on to a range of sets blending dance with lifts and more gymnastic shape making - and a bit more storytelling. Hamish adapted effortlessly to the range of ideas, with impressive versatility - I can see me wanting to cast him for lots more shoots in the future!

My huge thanks to Hamish for a hugely productive, creative shoot - I hope that we can work together again soon - totally recommended!

I shot with Hamish at the Creativity Hub's Roaring 20s event recently. We worked on two very contrasting sets and Hamish completely nailed both. He is excellent to work with, has plenty of ideas for appropriate poses and is very capable of portraying different moods as the setting demands. I am very happy with the images I got and would love the chance to work with him again in future.

I worked with Hamish for the first time in a duo shoot at Atlas Mills studio. I had met Hamish prior to our shoot and he is very welcoming and friendly. He poses with ease and is more than happy to collaborate on poses and suggest ideas. He is a hard worker and you can clearly see his many years of training and dedication to his craft. Hamish and myself discussed shoot, was hoping the weather was going to be great as the weather was hit and miss and luckily braved the weather today got some amazing shots, Hamish is professional consistent and lovely guy and had a great laugh and felt the shoot went quick. Not only did have great shoot Hamish had bought some clothes that would work with the corn fields and was looking forward to hay bales which I called sausage rolls but hopefully will be able to do some point again in future with Hamish. I would recommend Hamish to any photographer to use, he brings so many different ideas together and was lucky to get Hamish off his days off as I know he does ballet.
