Real People – Authenticity – Nude Portraits

I was born in Northern Germany in 1971 and grew up in the small fishing town Heiligenhafen. This did not stop me to seek my luck in the Elbe metropolis of Hamburg.

After successfully studying graphic design, I found myself in the colorful world of advertising, where I (as an employee at first, as a co-owner of a multimedia agency later on) prepared boring content in an entertaining manner.

In 2012 I turned my back on my former occupation and started the artistic exploration of human photography.

Since then I have sharpened mind and eye, put my fingers into the wounds of our time and challenged social conventions with dedication - or sometimes chutzpah.
