I had the pleasure of shooting with Gunnar for the first time today and I thoroughly enjoyed myself! Gunnar is a complete gentleman, witty and intelligent. He gives brilliant and precise direction to create the best images. His pre-comms were great too. Gunnar's use of natural lighting and understanding of it is incredible. Very easy to talk to and enthusiastic, with a variety of creative ideas and an eye for photography. I'd absolutely love to with Gunnar again, hopefully, today's shoot was the first of many!

Gunnar was such a gentleman from pre shoot communication to dropping me off at the station after an amazingly creative a productive shoot. Throughout the shoot Gunnar gave me so many tips and advice to improve my posing. His location is stunning and his use of light is flawless. I am so excited to submit our Suicide girls sets and cannot wait to create some more incredible shoots. Thanks again for a fabulous experience. Couldn't recommend highly enough x

I have just had my first 'Sue Bryce' inspired shoot with Gunnar & loved it! This was the only email I had responded to of this kind. Gunnar is superb & from his initial email (which made me smile) to meeting him, I felt completely at ease.

The studio in Sheffield is just great, lots of natural light & in a really cool building. This was my 2nd shoot after years away from this kind of thing & Gunnar was just fantastic & made this lots of fun, he has a great sense of humour & if you should ever get the chance to work with him, take it. Snap his hand off. You'll have a blast & end with some amazing shots!

I shot with Gunnar yesterday after he mailed me about a possible shoot based around the work of Sue Bryce. After seeing Gunnars amazing portfolio and researching Sue Bryces' work I couldn't say no! We shot at his new studio which is a hidden gem. Gunnar was professional, friendly and approachable, making me feel at ease throughout the shoot. He gave direction when needed and we worked together fabulously, bouncing off each other's ideas. If you get the chance to work with Gunnar, take it! You won't be disappointed. The images I have received so far looking stunning and we are discussing ideas for a future dance shoot :) Abi x

I love shooting with Gunnar, he has a contagious grin. This was my 2nd shoot with him, He is so lovely, great at direction but also takes ideas on board with the same level of enthusiasm. We changed location last minute,despite this we really pulled it together and had lots of fun with movement-jumping and swishing fabric around. So so sooo excited to see the pics from this shoot. If I could hog Gunnar's monthly shoots all to myself, I would! Highly recommended and can't wait to go shooting again soon fingers crossed. Kira x

Had the best day ever with Gunnar shooting at my place and in Manchester city centre. We had a concept but decided to go in a different direction and just see where our creative minds take us. Gunnar took excellent care of me throughout the shoot, made sure I was warm, fed, watered and caffeinated, what an absolute sweetheart and a perfect gentleman.

Gunnar is extremely witty, intelligent and talented at what he does, shooting and talking to him is a wonderful experience. We've already booked another adventure which says a lot! Thank you Gunnar, you magnificent Viking you! Speak soon.

I did a very brief session with Gunnar on a group collaboration day. He knew what he wanted and how to get it so we got a great result in very little time. We could have done it quicker if the sun hadn't been messing us around but that's not the photographer's fault!

He's friendly, good with direction and is open to input.

Where do I start? This was the first time I ever responded to a casting and I was so very glad I did. Lured by Gunnar's quirky, unusual concept and a prospect of wandering around woodlands making art I took a train to a small town near Sheffield to meet him.

We hit it off straight away, ideas bouncing back and forth - Gunnar is warm, kind, accommodating and so very witty! Versed in style and art, he is extremely enthusiastic and creative - he allowed the ideas to change and blossom as the shoot progressed.

Gunnar is a perfectionist and a true Rennaisance man - truly happy and honoured I have met him - the kind of inspiring individual you want to keep in your life!

Thanks Gunnar, hope to work with you again soon (even though you're half German ♥)

Had a great shoot with Gunnar yesterday at Aardwolf studios...he is so easy to get on with and great fun!

He explained what ideas he had for the shots and we tried lots of creative poses and expressions, with lots of laughs along the way - I look forward to working with him again. Highly recommend - can't wait to see the images.

Shot with Gunnar yesterday morning, I had trouble getting to the studio on time as my taxi driver drove around everywhere else but where the studio was lol but he was understanding and as soon as he took me round the studio for a tour and offered me countless hot drinks we were off on our shooting adventure. First we shot in the main studio got some absolute crackers, stunning lighting and colour and we also shot in the vintage section of the stuido, (would be great for a Halloween Victorian theme!) got some really really amazing ones in there also. Overall a really great fella to talk to and work with, amazing studio and would definitely look into shooting with him again! 😊

I had the pleasure of shooting with Gunnar a few months ago on a location shoot. The weather was not so great but we worked trough that and got some amazing images. The shoot went great Gunnar was really easy to get on with and is a great photographer I will be hoping to work with him again in the near future. If you have the chance to shoot with him take it! I worked with Gunnar on location around the city centre, He is great fun and is more than happy to get involved with my own ideas as well as giving fantastic direction to achieve his own concepts!

despite the wintery weather we had on the day we both worked through (he even brought cookies!) and i really look forward to being able to share the images we created!

I can honestly recommend him 100% to any models looking to work with a professional photographer who isn't afraid to have a joke!

Had an ace location shoot with Gunnar on Saturday in the Northern Quarter, Manchester.

He is so laid back and friendly, both myself and my make up artist really enjoyed it. He really has a great understanding of light and goes that extra mile to get the shots. Hopefully this was the first of many shoots. :D Highly recommended! X

What a lovely guy he is... so easy to talk too and great fun to work with, such an interesting guy.
