Maxie asked me if we can use a coloured gel in the background. "Of course" I said, "But you should really use a gel on a mid-grey wall, not a white one, or you'll just get a watered-down colour"

"Like that mid-grey wall over there?" Asks Maxie

"yes, I remember now; that's why I painted it that colour"
