I recently took part in an event shoot organised by David and Marie where I had not only the pleasure but the privilege to work with Gavin.

I'd heard nothing but wonderful things about Gavin and his work, some would say he's a bit of a celebrity within the photography world so I was both excited and anxious to work with him. Gavin was an absolute delight to shoot with very easy going, friendly and up for a laugh which made me feel totally relaxed and made the atmosphere enjoyable.

It's absolutely amazing to watch him work and see how he not only look's for shots differently to anyone I've worked with but also how he creates shots that's more outside the box and different from everyone else his way if working is really unique.

All in all I'd 110% recommend working with Gavin if you get the chance it was a cracking shoot and I'm even more excited to see the end results. Hopefully there will be many more shoots with myself and Gavin in the future. Thank you for a great day.

I recently had a long awaited shoot with Gavin that we had been planning for some time due to covid! We captured some amazing gritty portraits and had a nice catch up as it had been years since our last shoot... I’ll be sure to not let that happen again! I highly recommend Gavin to all models... still to this day images from my very first shoot with Gavin remain some of my absolute strongest and most powerful portraits to date in my portfolio and I still receive compliments on them!

I had the pleasure of working with gavin years ago and what can i say it was fantastic to work with him again.

We had planned a trio shoot with myself, Nicole Rayner and Farrah fay. With a great concept. With many props at the ready and his story ideas we had lots to play with.

Gavin is a pure artist and always makes sure everyone of his photos has great depth to it. It was very inspiring to watch his creativity at work and to be part of the process. He has an eye for detail like no other and makes sure every shot is spot on. He is always 100 percent on the ball.

With a lovely personality to match. He is a gentalmen, very relaxed easy to talk to and funny.

This was definitely a great shoot with some smashing ideas.

Of course it goes without saying that I would definitely recommend working with Gavin if you get the chance to.

I shot with Gavin last week at his studio for s portrait session he had booked me for a couple of hours to work on some ideas :)

I’m always amazed at gavins skill and eye to detail in the creative output, making sure everything is perfect and right in the camera for the image. We shot various looks with different hair pieces and creative concepts. As usual the time seemed to fly by I could honestly work with Gavin for hours as he is just so creative and his images are beyond amazing.

A rare creative gem in East Yorkshire!

I've had a fantastic time working with Gavin today! A thoroughly lovely and respectful gentleman! Gavins work is absolutely incredible and tonne a part of it has made me really happy 😊 It was lovely to get to know Gavin.... even though I was travel sick both ways to his studio, I'm rubbish at cars! Gav got in touch to see if a bridal shoot was of interest to me, i was thrilled so i jumped at the chance.

Pre & post comms were spot on, Gav is uber the professional such a joy to work with, took very little direction though we we're pretty much on the same wavelength.

Working with Gav is a lot of fun, we had a good natter whilst he was clicking away at the clicky box, totally relaxed but super efficient.

Would i work with Gav again? Yes absolutely. Would i recommen him? Need i say more? 100% Yes he's just superb.

Ive worked with Gav lots of times!

Hes professional, friendly, and is full of great ideas.

Communication before, during and after the shoot is very fast, and he is quick to get photos back.

Hes very good at directing during the shoot and knows exactly what it takes to get the shot he wants.

Shoots with Gav are always relaxed and we can have a laugh and a chit chat while we are shooting.

Ill definitely be working with Gav again and would 100% recommend him.

Gavin is very easy to work with and gives great direction and his strive for perfection is what makes him a great photographer.

I had the fabulous pleasure of shooting with Gavin again earlier this week, pre comms were excellent as usual, we had planned to work in the studio and a couple of locations but what with the gorgeous weather we had that day we couldn't help but take advantage of it and head out to the beach.

Gavin picked me up from the train station, and planned the day so he could drop me off on time to catch the early train home (thank you!), we dropped our bags off at the studio and went off to the location. We had also planned on maybe shooting some art nude work, but the red dress I brought along worked so well we both didn't feel the need to bring the birthday suit out!

Despite Gavin's OCD nature to have everything pin sharp as to his usual style, we did have a play with slow exposure whilst I leapt and danced on the sand, which looked amazing and gave a very painted like feel to the shots. We also got some really terrific landscape like work, which I just adore!

Gavin is so much fun to work with, very easy to talk to, relaxed, filled with ideas, and never short of creativity, just a lovely person, and he sure knows how to take a breath taking shot, so of course I'm very much looking forward to the next time, and he of course comes highly recommended by me.

I've shot with Gavin on numerous occasions so it goes without saying really, he's a great guy, extremely talented and creative. It was a pleasure to work with him in my new studio. I have the utmost respect for Gavin and I'm proud of the images he's produced. His portfolio speaks for itself.

I had my first shoot with Gavin yesterday at his studio in Hornsea and I had such a great time!

I have been a fan of Gavin's work for a long time and was so happy when he replied to my casting call. He is very professional and so easy to work with. He has such a creative eye and works very hard to get that perfect shot!

We both had a hell of a lot in common and he was such a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend him to any model and I hope to get the chance to work with him again :)

p.s he makes a lovely brew!

I had the absolute stupendous pleasure of shooting with Gavin just before I went on holiday last week. It was a bit of a last minute shoot but Gavin was quick to let me know time, place, and what to bring, so pre comms were bang on perfect for me. He opened the door with a grin, and made me a fabulous coffee before we got shooting, Gavin is such a chatter bug, down to earth and so easy to work with.

Gavin had some terrific ideas that he wanted to work on with me, they were mainly head shots and three quarter lengths but with his beautiful lighting sets ups and techniques every shot to every set looked completely different, you only have to look at Gavin's portfolio to see how brilliant he is with a camera, but nothing shows how brilliant he is behind it. He is a very lovely gentleman that I hope to work with again in the near future, he comes extremely highly recommended by me.

Had an amazing day shooting with Gavin today!

Pre communications were excellent and I arrived to a lovely studio.

The shoot was relaxed and fun, Gavin is very easy to work with, gives great direction and knows exactly what he wants to capture and how to do it.

The images we got are absolutely stunning and I am so happy with them.

I would highly recommend Gavin to anyone. I hope to work with him again in the not too distant future...all I can say is his images speak for themselves!

Super day in everyway. Firstly Gavin had ultra first class standards towards his setup for shots and the outcome was perfection with alinement, shadows, contrast..all. He had great communication and ensured that i was happy with everything prior to and throughtout the shoot. Gavin knows exactly what he wants to achieve with pro's sion and passionately teaches it to others. Throughly organised and professional through and through.
