 Hello, Howdy, Bonjour! 

My name is Sophie, but everyone calls me Soup, and I prefer that. 

I've been in the cosplaying community for around 7 years but it's only in the past couple of years that I started getting really into it and taking it more seriously. 

Initially I had a big desire to try and be serious with it but I had no confidence due to my weight at the time, but in 2022 I had weightloss surgery and after a huge success with getting to the goal weight I'd always wanted my confidence has sky rocketed and enabled me to feel like I can finally cosplay all the characters I've dreamt of. 

In this area of discovery I learned I absolutely adore tactical cosplay. Mainly SWAT style, edging on a sort of 'Call Of Duty' look. If it's something you know about I'll specify more by saying initially it was an 'Umbrella Soldier' from Resident Evil, then I tested a 'HUNK' cosplay (also from resident evil) at Secret Con (a convention strictly for Photographers and Cosplayers) and discovered I quite prioritize comfort for long days in costume and the gas mask I had was extremely uncomfortable, so I've reverted back to a basic soldier-style look but I'm still experimenting currently with my gear. 

 

I also recently attended Fantasy Forest and did quite an opposite cosplay of a Mushroom Princess. I felt ethereal and beautiful and I think I'd like to try more cosplays like that, with beautiful dresses. But it's quite low on my list. 

Other cosplays I'm working on is a Helldiver (from Helldivers 2), Eagle 1 (from Helldivers 2), and Homelander (From The Boys). 

There's others on the list but they're quite low down on the list to be honest so not worth mentioning for now, but I'd love suggestions if there's anything you think I'd suit or enjoy!

I'd love to get more into doing some serious photography but I recently became a new mum, my first baby was born in March 2024. So that's sort of pickled my schedule, as well as me being unable to drive and my husband working 5 days a week, it leaves me very little time to actually do this so a lot of my photo opportunities land either on occasional weekends or at conventions I attend throughout the year. 

I am hoping to try get more pictures for a better portfolio however.

I've listed Fetish shoots in my list as I do enjoy that as well. I have a Fetlife account mainly to show off such things, as I'm married and monogamous my sole reasoning is because I enjoy how fetish shoots and kinky shoots make me feel. I feel beautiful, sexy and empowered. Especially when I wear some nice lingerie and I see the shots that come from it.

My confidence for kinky shoots has gone up since losing weight however I do have insecurities around how much loose skin I have from losing weight and also being pregnant. I have a lot of skin sag on my boobs, tummy, legs, butt and arms. So I often try wearing lingerie to hide that or request shots be taken to hide it. It's not something I want to accept or feel I should have to accept. What I am happy to accept is it's something I'm embarrassed about and I don't want it in photos. It makes the uncomfortable self conscious thoughts crawl back. 

 

I need to make it quite clear here though: 

Fetish/bondage/lingerie shoots are probably something I'd only do with a photographer I know quite well as it's quite out of my comfort zone.

I actually only made this account to support a photographer and my friend but I saw it had potential to maybe be a good tool to get to know any local photographers or models and see if anything could happen in the future but it's not something I'm taking seriously given my current circumstances so if a shoot were to happen, it'd have to be extremely flexible.

I do not drive and public transport is tricky for me to organise as I suffer with some disabilities that restrict excessive walking and also struggle with seizures that can be triggered by heat and other stress factors so avoiding public transport is ideal for me. 

In other words unless the husbando taxi can take me places and pick me up, and unless I have a babysitter, shoots are extremely hard to organise. However there have been occasions we've been able to work around these restrictions, and it's only while bubba is in his first tricky year! 

Weekends will normally be the only option for any potential shoots I'm afraid or if you're going to the same convention as me we can organise a shoot there.
