Attended a workshop with Rob at Bryn Hall yesterday with the delightful Natasha Watson. Delegates could not have been in better hands. Laid back attitude, useful advice on technique and of course the modelling skills of Ms Natasha J Bella. What more could we ask?

Had the pleasure of hosting the Studio Antics-Diaz shoot 27th Feb. It was a pleasure to work with Rob who ran a workshop. Rob is the consummate experienced, skilful and well organised professional. Rob is just a fabulous photographer and he just manages to top every shoot we do, he has a distinctive style which is simply amazing to see in practice - we shot a late night bit of filth last week, using various props and one light......Rob is the most versatile and fun photographer I've ever worked with, he is comfortable with both natural or artificial light and he brings so much to the shoot, this dude is just EPIC!!!!!!

This fabulous individual is one of my fave photographers and I consider him a wonderful mate too - he is simply fantastic at everything he does and is officially one of the best atmospheric photographers I've seen :)

It was my first shoot and he made me feel very comfortable and it was smooth sailing all though out the shoot. The pictures were great and the atmosphere was great

Rob is very relaxed during the shoot but also professional at the same time! I feel very comfortable with him!! We went to shoot in Forest of Dean and we had such a bad wheather for the whole day- rain rain...even then we manage to create some Fantastic pics I Love!! His knowledge of Lighting is just wonderful even in that wheather conditions!!!I He is fun, very friendly and great company!!! Rob is also very speedy in delivering the pics- the same evening...WOW!! I realy Looking forward for ouer next shoot, Hopefully soon please!!! Thank You for an ACE day again and Beautiful piccies my FRIEND!!!! XXXXX :)

I worked with Rob a week ago with the lovely Allinthemind (Simon). Rob was our MAD, eccentric, vibrant, fun and super helpful photographic assistant for the days shoot - and what trouble he was! Always making me laugh! Rob is quite infectious, lights up a room with his wicked ways and its hard not to like him and talk filthy, as he is hilarious! It felt like I was shooting with two old friends (well I suppose you both are ;) ) We had a lovely meal in a gurt lush country pub after the shoot also which was divine- what did they say about feeding models? Rob is lovely, next time we have to work together! Helen x

I had the pleasure of working with rob after admiring his work for a long time! he arrived on time and ready to shoot, he's really easy to get on with and chat to :) we did a couple of hours at mine then moved onto location. It was great to meet up with Rob on his adventure to the north. I worked with Rob on a few shoots at Carr Hall. He helped me look at my photography in another light as well as convincing me of the versatility of a nifty 50!

Whilst Rob has a very distinct style to his photography, however was totally supportive of you getting the shot you want. Rob is a great mentor and I would totally recommend you looking him up if you want to challenge and build on what currently works for you.

I met up with Rob at Studio Antics in Brighouse in the Spring. I found him to be very helpful on lighting as well as hearing his experiences on previous shoots. Found Rob to be a lovely guy and great company for the 24 hours while I was at Studio Antics. One of my most enjoyable shoots.

Me and Golding have been wanting to shoot together in ages! But unfortunately something would always come up and we would have to postpone.

We finally managed to shoot together and Rob definitely didn't disappoint...We created some awsome pictures and the shoot was a great laugh! Lots of Violence, emotional blackmail, mental torture, climbing stuff naked (me not him...He wasn't naked haha) scaring poor Golding by deciding to do dangerous stuff....yeah it was awsome!

We also had lots of fun taking selfies and doing random car videos :)

All in all it was one of the best shoots I ever had and om definitely coming back for more! With lots of punches

A proper gent. Seriously, the nicest guy on PurplePort. Events conspired to have us shooting together with Angel Price. No plan at all, just turn up, wing it and have the best laugh ever. The images he took, well ... totally speechless. Getting to see one of your heroes in action is a rare treat, but watching a guy as talented as this, with no ego whatsoever, was just a one-off. Totally respectful of both male and female models, fun, charming, encouraging. Just brilliant. Even checked with me afterwards if I was happy for some of the racier shots to be posted. Like I said; a proper gent. I knew he was good, but Feck me, he's good!

I worked with Mr Golding last night on an evening hotel shoot with the also awesome Mr dark side and the lovely Freya x

I don't really know what to say about this man except he's bloody amazing !! both in personality (us having a right old laugh all night )

and also his exceptional talent as a photographer and his creative skills were just flowing brilliantly !!!

I had such a fantastic evening and I can't wait to work with rob again x

Fantasy Dabblers

Rob organised a workshop in Nottingham that we were fortunate to attend. Although he hadn't used the venue before he made sure we made the best use of it and the model he bought with him (Jezebelle) was excellent. Rob was full of great ideas and very encouraging. He is an expert with natural light and we learnt a lot from the day.

On my adventure to Nottingham with the charismatic Rob G, we had some time before the epic workshop to do some shooting using the wonderfully soft ambient light - I do love shooting with Rob, he's professional & funny, with those stunning angles that he effortlessly pulls out of the bag....

He is the ultimate natural light photographer with a deft hand for studio lighting too as he proved at our photography workshop at The Pit Studio in Nottingham, directing the other photographers and myself beautifully, to make the most out of the gorgeous light!

Rob Golding is by far one of the best photographers I have had the honour of shooting with and meeting with above all, he is also an amazing guy who has so much talent & so much to give, capturing people at their best :)

This photographer is epic....if you haven't worked with him already, then now's the time to pluck up the courage to approach him, I can't recommend him enough xxx

I was lucky to be able to take advantage of Rob being at Kirklees Hall and have a 1-2-1 with him. He is an excellent tutor and helped me enormously. He helped me select locations within the Hall to get the best of the available natural light, suggested exposures, compositions and, when needed, provided expert guidance and assistance with studio lights. He is very friendly and very easy to get on with. He reviewed the shots I had taken and pointed out improvements and suggested alternative angles. His knowledge is endless and he is willing to help at all times.

I could not have asked for more.

Stephanie Dubois was a super model for the day and got on well with Rob and me. She had worked with Rob before and you could see they made good working team and made my life easy. We had a happy and fun day working through the many sets. Rob and Stephanie made my day superb and wishing for more.

If you get an opportunity to work with Rob (and/or Stephanie) then take it, you won't be disappointed. I wasn't and would do it again.

I had the opportunity to work with Rob again today after nearly two years. He was offering 1-2-1 tuition to Mallion at Studio Antics (Kirklees Hall). As ever, Rob was friendly, fun, helpful and knowledgeable. We managed to get through several sets, and produce some fabulous images. I can recommend Rob as both a photographer and tutor. A real joy to work with.
