I , along with my makeup artist and hair stylist wife, run a studio in Northamptonshire and have been doing so for over 20 years. I work for pay only and am willing to try most things within reason. I like a challenge and have covered most styles of photography over the years, but specialize in beauty and family portraiture. I have also directed music videos, and, although I rarely enter them, have won awards in portraiture and wedding.

My inclination is toward fashion and glamour, and although studio based I am open to suggestions. I rarely turn anything down, unless time dictates, and am always keen to try new styles and never want to stop learning. We have set would- be models on the road to success with our photography and recently won a camera in Digital Photo and Practical Photography magazines portrait section of photographer of the year. 

I have been taking photographs since I was 14 and have never become blase about it or pompous about it. Studying art at college and coming from a career in graphics I am very much a visual person. I have always had a fascination with people both mentally and physically, but because I took too long; going into too much detail doing life study drawings; I decided to follow a career in photography which was self taught.
