A lovely studio with many background options . Jim is on hand to help with anything from advise on vegan cafes to tasting his fabulous wine. The studio is extremely inviting and smells beautiful , a lovely calm aura for models to work in. A changing area and two toilets and situation next to cafes and shops this studio is fabulous , hope to be back here soon

First time using the studio and it was excellent.

Spoke to Jim (thr owner)several times to make sure everything ok. Had a decent level of equipment .

Will certainly be looking to use Glassbarrel again in the not too distant future.

Had my first ever visit to the glass barrel studios yesterday,had a very warm welcome from Jim,loved the biscuits with my coffee😉 great studio,plenty of space and backdrops,good facilities and changing room.i can highly recommend glass barrel studios,hopefully be visiting again very soon x

If you don't know by now how I feel about Glass Barrel and the owner Jim, then you don't know me at all.

Jim has been amazing to deal with. Glass Barrel is a fantastic wee place, with some varied sets and props. I've never failed yet to come away with a different look or style of image from there.

Thank you Jim. I'm truly appreciative of your help and support, and I'll follow that through into the new premises if you'll have me.

What a beautiful studio, my first shoot and defiantly not my last.

So many different areas and props to choose from, i didn't even manage to shoot in half of it.

A stunning amount of natural light with also some really fantastic studio lights. I was welcomed in with the offer of tea and coffee and felt very comfortable in Jim's company. Great back drops and also warm, very important if you ask me.

Looking forward to coming back very soon!

Just had my first shoot at Glass Barrel Studios, and certainly won't be my last - highly recommended!

Jim is friendly, helpful and extremely patient when helping you to set up - and made me and the model I was working with feel welcome and at ease - offering assistance and brews!

The venue has a number of studio spaces - with more coming.

Backdrops, lights and props are all provided - and the spaces are flexible and versatile enough for any use.

Next session is already being planned!

Once again I was at the lovely GBS. Jim is still as accommodating as ever.

I was shooting several ideas and sets with the lovely Dante Layla, and although we ran out of time, we did not run out of space or ideas.

Always a pleasure shooting at Jim's place, never had a bad one yet. :)

Just had a fantastic shoot at this great studio, Jim couldn't be more helpful or professional.

All lights, backdrops and props were of good quality and the image results we achieved were exceptional.

Jim is a credit to the place and I can highly recommend this studio to all photographers and models everywhere!

I attended this studio for my shoot this week and I must say it's a lovely place. It's well equipped with lighting , props , good use of space & it's clean & welcoming with plenty of areas to change discreetly if you wish. I was offered plenty of refreshments & greeted nicely by others in the studio. I will definitely be looking at hiring this studio space again and working with Tony here again , highly recommend

I shot at the studio with Tony yesterday. It's a great place, really easy to get to with a cheep car park just around the corner.

The studio was nice and clean with good facilities. I would recommend it to others.

I have used glass barrel studios a number of times whilst shooting with Tony Smith. Jim the owner is a welcoming and friendly guy who is very helpful. It is great to get to support this local studio to me as it a clean and well equipped for your needs. I have taken endless fantastic pictures in here :)

I've shot at Glass Barrel so many times, it really is a fab place. There are different rooms and a garden area, the space is really used well.

Jim is fantastic, I've worked with him on a couple of product shoots and seen him at the studio on days when I've been there with other photographers too. He is a really lovely and genuine guy.

I always feel comfortable at Glass Barrel, it has a warm feel to it and the idea Jim has for enhancing the place further is fantastic, I'm looking forward to seeing that progress.

Jim and I have been friends for a while now, and I've been very lucky to have been given early access to the studio while in it's infancy.

I've never had a bad experience there. Jim is always accomodating, welcoming, makes a decent brew, and has listened to suggestions and ideas along the way.

I've shot in the studio's countless times, and always managed to bring something different away from the experience. From art nude, to pin up, to some baby bump images.

At all times, Jim has been helpful, and considerate towards my needs as a photographer, and I would recommend his studio any time.

Yes it's small, and compact. But with a choice of rooms, backgrounds, some fun props, and awesome wooden floors, it's up to the photographer to make of it what they will. So get it booked, and let's support this new local opportunity.
