This was my second shoot with Derek and I just love working with him. We had arrange this shoot a while ago and I was looking forward to it. He is professional, friendly and a true gentleman. Throughout the shoot we chatted with ease, had a giggle and a got some really lovely shots. A genuine decent guy who I would highly recommend to anyone. I can't wait to shoot with him again! Pre-shoot communication was spot on, we got on like a house on fire and shot a range of outfits and accessories in the time we had, which absolutely flew by! I had a great shoot with Derek while on my studio weekend at Sandon studios.

Derek is really lovely person to work with, he is great company, easy going and professional.

We shot an arrange of styles from portraiture,fashion, art nude and lingerie, Derek was happy for me to look at the back of the camera so I could see what we were getting so I could adjust the pose to improve the shot. We got some super images and I look forward to seeing more of them.

I really enjoyed working with Derek and I look forward to future shoots together.

I had a really fun shoot with Derek on my studio day at Joel Hicks Studio.

Derek booked 2 hours, but I must say it felt like we only had an hour as the time flew by!

We got some great variety in the shoot and even managed to get in the sun for a few minutes!

Derek is really easy to work with, chatty just like me which makes the shoot all that more fun!

I would recommend Derek to anyone wanting to shoot, he would make anyone's shoot fun and productive too!

Hope we work together again next time I am down that neck of the woods :)

Me and Derek hit it off from the start on our first ever shoot three shoots ago :) He is such an absolutely lovely guy and very laid back and easy going when it comes to shooting! It's always a pleasure working with him and I always look forward to our next shoot. Derek makes sure the model is comfortable at all times and he always shows up punctually. He is so reliable and professional. One of the friendliest photographers out there! I could shoot with Derek all day and not get bored, I really could and I couldn't say that about many photographers! His photography just gets better and better! Working with Derek was such a pleasure! We shot twice in two days and I could happily model for him again and again:)

Our first shoot was at Map studios then the next day we shot location at Joel Hicks Photographic and over the two shoots we got a brilliant mix of styles and genres.

Derek is so professional and friendly, felt like working with an old friend and when it came to shooting we seemed to read each others minds :)

I had the brilliant pleasure of shooting with Derek, at my studio day at Joel Hicks Photographic. Derek got in touch with me before our shoot to let me know what he wanted to shoot, so I had less to pack (thank you!), he arrived on time and as he was my last photographer of the day he very kindly gave me 15 minutes to have a coffee and stuff my face (an even bigger thank you!). Derek was such a chatter bug, we got on straight away, and what a giggler, our two hours together just disappeared in an instant! It was a beautiful day, so we kept to the lake which of course I took a quick dip in to, we got some terrific images everywhere we went and had a great time. I've been meaning to shoot with Derek for ages so it was lovely finally getting to shoot with him, and hope to shoot with him again in the future.

Derek comes very easily highly recommended by me.

I worked with Derek at Joel Hicks Photographic, it was a really fun shoot. Derek is freindly, professional and easy to get along with. We worked outside and in the studio, he had lots of good ideas thought out for the shoot. He was considerate when we where shooting outside, making sure I didn't get too cold. I highly recommend other models to shoot with Derek and I look forward to working with him again.
