Well what can i say about Gigzey photography. The name came from me a a friend sitting about drinking tea and taking photos all day.
In college and high school I always found myself drawing and painting and looking at the world from an artistic point of view. This is what inspired me to become a photographer. Photography has been a passion to me for the last year or so, but it was more of a hobby for my own personal entertainment. After showing my work to some friends and family I decided to start doing this more as a profession. In this industry a photographer has to stay upto date with all the new trends. I enjoying seeing the look on someone’s face when they look at their photos in as I’ve captured them, seeing their faces light up with excitement when they see their portraits. I believe that every shot taken should be enjoyed by the subject(s) and they should also be thrilled with the results!
As a parent I understand that younger people (children) do get shy and generally don’t express themselves, particularly in the face of a camera, although with parents taking more and more photos on mobile phones and such, some children will even pose! But in working with families, I find the more natural shot can be achieved, providing a rare opportunity to keep memories of your family as you all naturally interact. It’s my job to make sure you are both comfortable and happy, in order to get the best out of the shoot.
