I had my first shoot with french John Gibbs who had been in contact for years.

He kindly made it possible for me to come to him in france and accommodate me at long last. He was professional during the time with him. We were very lucky with the weather so it was meant to be. We shot outside in the caves, rivers and streams.

He brought his camera and lighting equipment he knows how to use. He let me pose, as well as he gave me advice and ideas

He decisively chose through the outfits I brought with me. He takes high quality photos and takes his time to edit well too. I felt comfortable with him. He taught me some things.

He was easy to chat to and he didn't push my levels. I hope to work with them again.

I shot with John again today in st cyprien in France 🇫🇷

John is lovely and always super accommodating. He organised my hotel again which is always a really comfortable clean room in a lovely little village. I love returning here for work

Lots of our initial plans fell through but our improvisation skills were put to the test but we really made the most of it. We always manage to create so many different sets and locations. For a very relaxed day we get a lot done

Today we started off shooting in the hotel room to execute some ideas John had for a while. Then we went to his home studio to try out some different lighting.

We then head out on location to find some picturesque hay bales. And finally we finished off at the rugby stadium grounds were we set off smoke bombs and created some epic shots there too

We even had time for a lovely lunch

Thanks again John. You always make sure I’m very well looked after and fed :-)

I would highly recommend John as a person and a photographer. I always feel safe in his presence. He’s always full of ideas. And I already can’t wait to execute our next ideas on another shoot

It’s the first time I’ve worked with John and I’m really looking forward for next one.

He prepares everything very accurately which I appreciate very much.

He booked a very nice hotel for me with an excellent breakfast for 2 nights as I was driving from Barcelona, and had a full day shooting the day after my arrival. A moodboard was sent in advance too.

In the morning we worked on his studio, then we had a great lunch together, some time to rest and fix my makeup and hair for the evening shoot in a location and dinner.

I liked his ideas for our shoot and he is good with photography. In the other hand, he also has a professional approach and behavior, gives you your own space, is very respectful, serious when working and friendly too.

I highly recommend working with him and definitely the experience with him is great.

I worked with John again today in t he beautiful saint cyprien France 🇫🇷

We’ve worked together many times now and everytime we somehow top or previous ideas and results. Always shooting a range of different projects that completely vary

John comes up with an idea and proposes this to me and I then brainstorm the locations he’s found and the idea and come up with the styling and makeup for the shoot. I even make alot of the garments.

He’s always very prepared and we pre plan out shoots ahead of time to ensure everything falls into place

Yesterday I arrived in st cyprien. John collected me from the train station and took me to my hotel which I’ve stayed at before. It’s my go to place if I travel without my family. Which he arranges very kindly for me. ( it helps that he speaks fluent French and English )

Today we started with one theme at one location. Stopped for lunch and then after restyling completed part two of our day. We got to try out his new hassleblad and I have to say the results are fantastic.

The locations / styling / results were perfect for what we imagined

John pre prepared all the locations and got help from a stylist at a local hair dresser and also had two people on hand to help with lighting and fans

John certainly doesn’t do things by halves he knows what he wants and he does a fantastic job at executing it

As always it’s a pleasure to work with John and would definitely recommend him to other models

I shot with john again 3 times over the last week I rented a Villa in France for the week with my children

We shot once at the villa where he managed to get some beautiful photos of my son my daughter wouldn’t play ball

We also shot at a shepherds hut at sunset I designed a dress for the occasion and we had a lighting assistant who was also lovely

The third shoot was in a cave. I also designed the outfits for this and all styling for all shoots was done by me. Even in the 40 degree weather 🔥

Regardless of the conditions john was super. Always professional and productive and always has a plan of what he wants to achieve from the shoot.

I think we work super well together and communicating with him is easy me maybe not so much lol

I would highly recommend john as a photographer and look forward to our next shoot

What a beautiful stunning location

John was super easy to communicate with from the very get go always providing me with lots of details and preparation which is always great

He has a fantastic eye for photography and certainly has a passion for it. Our first meeting and first shoot flew by

He was kind, courteous and funny. We had a great time shooting and very quickly found it easy to work together

Ten mins after departing on the train I’ve already booked a return flight so we’ll that says it all

The images were great and the locations that we shot at were great too

Looking forward to returning again
