Gh Brand Concept:
Gh means ‘Get Her, Get Hon and Get Hen.’ It is a brand stands for sexual equality and all genders. ‘H’ refers to her, honey and hen. ‘Hen’ is Swedish for neutral gender. Since sexuality has become blurred in this generation, lingerie is no longer just for females. In the near future, Gh hopes to target wider range of customers for all genders. Besides, models Gale and Rachel work with are just like any ordinary girls on the street. Because they not only design for skinny girls or top models but also real people. Everyone can truly love their bodies and show their glamorous looks with confidence.
Gh Brand Inspiration:
As it mentioned above, Gh also does some laboratorial experiments and sampling for another production line. The founders, Gale and Rachel would like to bring some edible experiments and contemporary art elements into this brand.
Not Just Lingerie?!
In Gh’s first series, Gale and Rachel cooperated with famous Spanish lollipop brand and combined sweet lollipop with panty design. This offers clients more fantasy while wearing it.
Especially, one of Gh’s workers has fashion background and working experience within Alexander Mcqueen womenswear team. This could help them to bring all these ideas together into practice.
Gh Brand Plan:
Scent, Taste and Touch are the main elements that can fully describe Gh.
The next step, Gh is thinking to design a mini collection of lingerie with incense perfume ingredient.
The aromatic scent will release and may smell differently depending on human’s body temperature. Meanwhile, their skin can absorb the natural herbs and get smoothly and become silky skin.
Gh Final Goal
Advertising ‘objectification of women’ and ‘selling sex’ are very common to see in lingerie
industry. It is not art or fashion. No women want to be viewed as an object. This kind of branding strategy is what Gale and Rachel strongly disagree. Gh is hoping that its lingerie design and brand concept can make people rethink the nature beauty of human body. People don’t have to get hung up on conforming to a particular body type. Just like Gh’s models, in real life they are not very stylish girls with skinny body type. However, their natural beauties and confidence appear through different lenses while taking photoshoot. In fact, beauty is an attitude. It has nothing to do with perfect body type and age at all.
