Started taking landscape photos in the 1960's. Did some freelance press photography in the 1970's then drifted away from it for a few decades. Had a lot of local news type photos published in local papers, nothing major.

Now discovered digital photography and eager to get back into it again. Doing some landscape work and already had some  photos in the local press of cars over the hedge. local scenes etc..... nothing special. Submitted some work to stock agencies and had it accepted with some immediate sales (40 downloads at 25p each) so keen to build up that portfolio across the board.

Building a large studio about 18m x 6m right now which I hope to have finished soon.(See pics). Sharing it with my wife (see Annteak on Purpleport and the Red Hoodie in the pics below) who is an artist and also a photographer. Aim is to have the facilities to do our own  portrait and people photoshoots and to offer the use of it to other photographers and models. We live in the country so have private outdoor locations, fields, heather moors and woodlands around us for secluded location work as well as the old barn.If it all works out like we plan, we hope to regularly arrange shoots with models. (Glasgow to Alloa is a £9 return train ride for any interested city models). 

Initially I am eager to build up experience with simple portraiture/headshot/studio lighting sessions so looking for models  happy to sit on a bar stool  for a couple of hours while I play with the lights. Ann Teak also raiding charity shops to build up a stock of fashion wear for studio and outdoor shots. We  always work together so you will be getting both of us on any shoot .
