First Point Photography

Genna modelled for us on one of courses. Her brief was to take directions from the students, but to also give some advice when they seemed at a loss. Despite feeling a bit under the weather, Genna turned up on time, prepared and eager to get involved.

As well as taking directions, Genna helped the students with advise when needed. She helped them relax and made them comfortable while photographing her. I’m sure you can remember how daunting and nervous it is when you are starting out and photographing someone for the first time.

Genna was very personable, fun to work with, supportive and reliable.

I will definitely be working with Genna again in the near future and highly recommend working with her.

Had a fun shoot with Genna, themed with and Asian look, topical around Chinese New Year. Genna arrived with a great collection of clothes for the shoot.

I wanted to try some new lighting styles so we set too.

I was really pleased with the results.

It was a great shoot and Genna’s attention to detail and creative passion really shone through. Every setup and every shot gave her inspiration to take the shoot up a creative level.

A shoot that has been a while in the planning, we found a suitable location for this themed shoot.

I may be repeating myself, but shoots with Genna are always fun, and she likes to something a bit different. She is most creative in her choice of themes for a shoot, and this was no different. Her creativity expresses not just in the theme, but on discovery during the shoot. As an example, a flag around some furniture immediately became a patriotic sarong.

Expect something different on a shoot with Genna, you will not be disappointed.

Yet another shoot with Genna. This time it was an idea of Genna's to be wrapped in plastic caution tape. I decided to start the shoot with gelled lights, then moved to regular white light.

As is usual with Genna, she puts everything into the shoot. She brought her regular MUA, and and set to wrapping herself in tape while I readied the lights.

Genna is always a pleasure to work with, and always bring something different and creative to a shoot.

The photo session with Genna was a great afternoon preceded by a long period of preparation, but it made us agree on every detail of the session very well.

Genna found a place that suited the atmosphere of the session, prepared 3outfits and all the necessary things that we wanted to use when taking photos

We quickly caught the flow of work and the pictures were almost self-taking.

Genna knows exactly what she wants to achieve during the session, she cares about the details, knows her strengths, can adapt to the photographer's idea and has a wide range of poses, which makes taking pictures very easy.

During the sessions I felt very comfortable and was able to work in the style I like. All this thanks to Genny's openness and conversations

Genna is not only a fantastic model, she’s smart, funny and really easy to get on with.

Genna was looking for some clean, natural images for agency profiles and submissions with a totally different look to what she would normally deliver. Despite being a little outside of her comfort zone on this shoot, she was the consummate professional. Genna is easy to direct and worked with me on any suggestions and feedback.

Genna responded to a casting and we developed a concept around a bridal shoot in an English village and some surrounding locations. She sourced an amazing vintage wedding dress and, with help from MUA Becky, modelled a wonderful jilted bride. This isn’t something I had shot before, or could have orchestrated without Genna. So, thank you. Professional, fun to work with and of course beautiful and skilled - I can’t wait to work together again.

Today Genna did her first studio shoot with me at Art Asylum Reloaded in weymouth.

Great pre comms as normal and sending each other mood boards so we both know what we want to achieve and what is ok to do shoot wise.

Genna had never done a Bed Boudoir shoot before. so it was really different for her to achieve and think about.

She got in to her new character/ role really quickly and soon relaxed then the pics just get kept following. We both had the same ideas she even said before i said! i had it in my brain but came out her mouth before i could say it which is lovely.

Genna is an amazing model and poses freely and doesnt need much direction. Only the odd adjustment as she cant see herself. so doesnt know how lighting would effect the pose. But is happy to be directed and to make the micro alterations to get the best possible photo.

She brought along clothing and props from a white blanket to Perfume bottles and a very trendy fashion clothing. Not only do you get a model you get the fashion and Props that can enhance the shoot. which brings it to another level.

Ive done about 4 shoots with her so far and really need to do more as i love the package you get with her. The High quality model, The fashion and creativity of what goes with what. The props or the sourcing of stuff to bring to enhance it from a photo to a story

Had my first video shoot for ages. Got together with Genna, who always has loads of innovative ideas for shoots.

Genna was great, waiting patiently as I blocked the set and figured the lighting. I had forgotten how complicated video is compared to stills, even simple things like the constraints of 16:9 framing.

Genna is super easy to work with, along with her MUA, @beckylankesterbeauty. Genna had prepared props for the shoot, and came with just the right outfits for the theme.

Now I am getting back into it, would like to shoot more video with Genna.

Had and autumn shoot with Genna in the New Forest. As usual, everything went well. Genna is great to work with, a very creative model.

We wizzed around several locations, finishing up with Genna throwing leaves in the air for an autumn look.

Very pleased with the images. I would highly recommend Genna for anyone looking for something a bit different from run-of-the-mill shoots, like a themed shoot, or a project. That will bring her creativity to the fore, along with her tailoring skills.

Excellent shoot with Genna.

It was something we had planned for a while, and we were waiting for the right weather. Sadly the forecast changed, so it wasn't the clear frosty morning we wanted. However, we still had a great shoot. Genna pulled out all the stops preparing the outfit, assisted by MUA Becky with the winter themed make-up look. Genna made a headdress the day before to enhance the winter theme.

Good pre-shoot communications and all went to plan.

Yet another excellent shoot with the versatile Genna. As is normal with her shoots, she brings bespoke outfits made especially for the session to add that special touch not "found on the high street".

This time we started with a straight beauty shot, then moved on to fashion. We worked through a number of different looks and I was really pleased wit the results.

We were ably assisted by MUA Becky (@beckylankesterbeauty), helpful as ever.

I would highly recommend Genna, and the duo with Becky are so easy to work with.

Just had a pumkin-themed shoot. Genna puts everything into a shoot, and she wore an outfit made for the pumpkin theme. She put up with a cold wind and the mud of the pumpkin patch for the three-hour shoot. I think we provided amusement for the families collecting pumpkins at the patch!

We had an @beckylankesterbeauty in attendance for makeup. She helped with the costume change and held the reflector when needed.

Genna is good fun to work with, plus she will go out of her way for a shot, even lying on the mud (her tea, not mine).

Had a great shoot with Genna, this time in a studio. We were creating a tribute to Diana Riggings, so a sixties look was in order. Genna made a dress specially for the shoot, she always goes the extra mile to make the shoot a success.

Preshoot always goes to plan with Genna, and on set she poses naturally with little need for direction. Her outfits too, are great.

We also had Becky, an MUA in attendance, @beckylankesterbeauty providing great support.
