The draw of the BWB is too much!! It was great to have Gen back over at the studio today, for her second shoot with the Muppetographer.

Gen, just like last time is an absolute joy to have at the studio. She threw caution to the wind and dived straight into the BWB and for the next 90 mins or so, was presented with tougher and tougher poses to perform, and only backed out of a couple - sensible girl - we do have insurance, but would rather not have to use it!

Gen was accompanied by her mum, who we met last time and is lovely, as well as her boyfriend Sam, who very kindly drove them both to the studio today, and was full or encouragement and praise throughout the shoot!

Thoroughly recommended! Oh, and should you ever want to book Gen at J9, we'll knock £10 off the hire price - that's how much we love her and want her back!

I think when the vast majority of us leave references, we just mentally copy and paste something along the lines of, "Thoroughly recommend - hope to work with them again soon!" - it's the courteous thing to do - whether we actually truly mean it or not is another matter. When I wrote that on my last reference for Gen, I totally meant it - hence shoot number two!

On our last shoot we didn't have chance to use the BWB, and so for today's shoot, that's all we did. Prior to the shoot I'd sifted through previous BWB shoots along with stuff I'd seen other togs do, and came up with 140 fairly distinct poses, and Gen did a superb job replicating as many as she could in the short time we had. Being a fit young girl, I didn't feel the need to suggest Gen warmed up before climbing in - but the BWB doesn't age discriminate and takes no prisoners!!

There were lots of laughs throughout, as Gen attempted many of the trickier poses. Both her mum and boyfriend Sam were great throughout the shoot, helping out and making suggestions. I think they were both extremely impressed with how well Gen modelled in such a constraining space, I know I was!

Gen's big into fitness and healthy living, and so if you have some ideas around those sorts of themes, look no further - Gen will not disappoint!

Had the first of what I hope will be many shoots with the totally awesome Genevieve Sambrook today, or at least a couple more before she charges off to London to be with her protog sister and gets snapped up by some top London agency!!

All pre-shoot comms with Gen were top notch, which settled any fears I had of working with someone both new to modelling and Purpleport.

As for the shoot itself, we did this at my studio. Dad drove Gen and mum over, before being banished home to finish decorating. Gen brought over a good assortment of outfits and looked awesome in each and every one of them. For someone who hasn't been modelling very long, Gen did a truly brilliant job, replicating poses we liked and taking direction when it was given.

At the time of writing this I've not looked through all the photos, but if the back of the camera thumbnails are anything to go by, I'm super thrilled with how many of them turned out.

As well as being a natural beauty, Gen has a truly wonderful demeanour, as does her mum - which made for a thoroughly enjoyable session. So it will come as no surprise to learn that I recommend Gen whole heartedly, and can't wait for our next shoot... when hopefully I'll subject her to the BWB! Cue thunderclap and manic laughter...

Gen graced our studio today for the first time, accompanied by her mum.

Both Gen and Jan were absolutely lovely, and the shoot from start 'til finish was a lot of fun. There were a good handful of sets, and they all went smoothly with Gen nailing everything despite being relatively new to modelling.

We hope Gen enjoyed her time at the studio, and can't wait to have her back. Thoroughly recommended!

Lightstories

It was so refreshing to meet Gen and her supportive parents, all of whom were keen and enthusiastic for the duration of the shoot which took place near to both of us in some pretty chilly weather.

Her enthusiasm is infectious and her positive approach is no doubt built on the experience of having other creatives within the family with whom she has worked too.

I have no doubt she will bring a sparkle to any shoot, so if you are looking for someone full of beans, happy to take direction and willing to learn anything she can about this bizarre world Gen is your girl.

We will be doing much more together again soon I'm sure. Recommended.

Had a shoot with the gorgeous Genevieve on Sunday. Our first shoot of 2020, and a success. Genevieve is a beautiful young lady with a natural posing ability, fantastic physique, and stunning features to book. Her eyes really talk to the camera. We shot a variety of styles as Gen is just getting into the modelling industry. I can honestly say, she excelled in every aspect of the shoot. Her communication, both pre and post shoot has been excellent also. Genevieve said she wanted to have fun in front of the camera. And we did exactly that! Such a fun shoot, with this charismatic confident young woman. I would highly recommend Genevieve to any photographer looking for some real natural, fresh faced unseen talent. This girl will go far, so book her while you can. Thanks Gen for a fabulous shoot. Look forward to seeing you soon.
