Great to work with Gemma at last. Superb model, great comms leading up to the half day shoot at the atmospheric beltcraft factory near Seven Sisters. Gemma worked hard throughout the shoot, effortlessly posing in art nude and her wonderful lingerie collection. Friendly and easy-going. Likes gluten free popcorn. A real delight.

Having had a sleepless night, worried if Gem would look anything like the pictures on her profile, the day finally came. I got in my car to meet the red haired one outside a tube station somewhere in leafy zone 6. The first thing I noticed about this fashionista was her rather charming and delightfully thick odd socks which screamed fashionable like Amber Tutton (whom you should also consider a shoot with) on most days.

We said our hellos and off we went to our location for our shoot, London's slightly cleaner little sister, Hertfordshire. Having got slightly lost trying to find 76 hectares of green (and yellow, purple and ginger) we stumbled across a field with some horses that looked like cows. Gem was excited. I was glad, because I had originally thought that the site of me with my Billingham bag had sent her into a "not another cliche photographer" state of utter depression.

However, we soldiered on, having a nice chat about the fact that she is really actually is a good looking gamer chick (apparently she puts time aside to play a certain computer game which is usually reserved for geeky teenage boys with a slight BO problem - of which Gem isn't, I can assure you), avoided some cowpats (or were they horse pats... maybe there will be a scandal like the one with Ikea meatballs... Sorry horseballs... ok you get the point*) and headed to our first location.

I have been updated by Gem that it was definitely Cowpats as Horse Pats would be lumpy.

Gem worked hard, even with the ever present distraction of Dogs, big, small and otherwise, and as this was a shoot at her art nude rates, Gemma introduced some "Fashion Boob*" into our first look (*Thats not to say one is unfashionable). Our time together flew by whilst we shot, chatted, generally insulted each other and made some great art.

Her anecdotes were funny, even if they were often interrupted by her sudden tendency to start posing. Sometimes I didn't even have my camera in my hand. I see now that it was her encouraging me to pay her even more attention like a cat that jumps on your lap and starts purring randomly.

So, after you've read all of that describing Gem, who by the way is very internet (one for the kids), you are probably asking should I book her? All shall be revealed in the report as follows:

Gem came to the rescue today at shoot notice. What a pleasure it was to work with her. We had a laugh became creative and produced some great images.

Gem worked hard with no fuss.

Correspondence was great pre-shoot and arrived on time and ready to go.

She is new to art nude and was confident and positive - worked very hard to produce the images.

Great pre comms and just so easy to work with, we booked a three hour slot and the time flew by, lots of fantastic images which I need to produce.

I was really looking forward to working with Gem, and I was not disappointed. Communication, preparation etc was all exemplary, as you would expect from such an experienced and professional model.

She has wonderful distinctive looks, and a superb figure, and we got some great classical as well as less traditional shots, many at Gem's suggestion. An all round excellent and versatile model, and great to work with. Would I book her again, I already have :) Thank you Gem.

My second shoot with the talented Gem - this time a four hour studio session.

Once again she was totally professional, adding her distinctive look whilst happy to try something different, always with an interest in and commitment to the final result.

Above all, a most enjoyable shoot. Twice is not enough.

I was very fortunate to shoot with Gem I had a small list of models for a 'Must shoot with in 2015' and she was top of my list. I think personally a model needs to have a unique look and by god Gemma does and a lovely girl to boot! The shoot went very well and I have some great images one already made Vogue Italia the very next day so I have to say I am rather chuffed with that. I cant wait to shoot with her again awesome model!

I never met Gem before and did not even know her profile but wow what a lovely person, very very professional model, beautiful clothes, she knows what's what, so patient with me when I was messing about with the technical stuff. She has a quiet determination to express and provide the right emotion for the shot. She has a natural vulnerability to her expressions together with sensual and ethereal in equal measure. A most enjoyable six hours shooting with Gem, both indoors and outside.

Gem came well prepared with a great selection of outfits. Not only is she a total professional with her own distinctive look, but she is intelligent, articulate and great fun to shoot with.

All in all, Gem really lives up to her name. Highly recommended.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Gem for the Amber and Gem Belcraft Studio shoot last Saturday. Both Ladies organised an excellent shoot at a studio where there was a lot of shooting choice for each photographer attending – getting a shoot with both Ladies individually and then a session with the Ladies as a double act! I can well recommend shooting with either Lady individually or together at their next shoot day.

Had a great shoot with Gem around Three Mills area of Bromley by Bow, perfect model, great poise, easy to get alone with we seemed to chat all the way through. Great tip of Gem's to bring a hot water bottle along :)

I would recommend every one gets to work with Gem, a top notch young lady.

I spent two hours with Gem shooting outdoors around Stratford on a cold windy winter night. Pre-shoot communication was excellent. Gem was an absolute joy to be with and to shoot. She knew the location very well and found some great spots to shoot. She needed no direction from me (which is great because I am not very good at it) and every shot was a different very natural pose. She brought a hot water bottle to keep warm (other models may want to consider this great idea). We chatted about all sorts and I enjoyed our time together. Most importantly, she was very professional, great make up and stunning hair. She worked hard to ensure we got some different shots across the location and I have no hesitation in recommending her to any tog who wants to work with a stunning, hard working model. Thanks Gem!!

I worked with Gem a few weeks ago on a fashion shoot in London. She arrived early with plenty of enthusiasm and oozing professionalism. She has a fantastic skin and great for fashion shoots. I shot with her at a Portfolio Builder Day in August as well. A real gem of a model. Definitely recommended.
