References for Geraldine Bell

Geraldine and I have been talking about shooting for a very long time and today was the day. I have been looking for a model with a strong physique for one concept and great dance skills for a second concept. Geraldine is exceptional in both respects.

Additionally I needed a model with great skills plus the ability to take a concept and explore it and evolve it using their knowledge and creativity. Geraldine brings so much ability and imagination she makes ideas work effortlessly.

The plan was to explore 2 ideas in minute detail over 4 hours - these images being part of 2 bigger pieces of work when all the final montage elements have been completed. I n effect I was asking Geraldine to do shoot not knowing what the finished images will look like, so in effect modelling abstract ideas - and this is hard.

Her work today has been outstanding and I can recommend her without hesitation, in addition to all this ability she is great fun and a joy to have in the studio!

Had a fab shoot with Geraldine.

This young lady is bursting full of energy and creativity - we did some beauty portraits, funky fashion and lots of dance images.

Geraldine gave 110% and wouldn't rest until we nailed some of the dance poses which was awesome.

I recommend Geraldine very highly and can't wait for the next shoot.

Oh man, what can I say..... Geraldine just returned from 7 months away working on a cruise ship - and just stepped straight back into the world of modelling. I can't remember how many times I have shot with her, but each shoot just gets better and better.

This time we rattled through about a dozen different styles, outfits and moods - and I can't find a bad image from the whole session (ok - maybe the one where she fell over which I'm sure was just to make me laugh :) )

If you want an enthusiastic, perfectionist, happy, bubbly model / dancer - then get this young lady booked before she goes off travelling again.

You will not be disappointed.

I'd met Geraldine at a dance group shoot and was impressed by her energy, patience, ability as a dancer, her professionalism and general all round being a top girl.

Following this group shoot I booked her for a location dance shoot. Pre-shoot communications were good, location found and all looking good until the weather kicked in. In amongst all these glorious sunny days we've been having the day of the shoot it rained which, unfortunately, put paid to the dance shoot. However Geraldine was more than happy to continue with the shoot and we had a great time doing fashion/portraiture around the local reservoir - the opportunity to work with her again couldn't be missed and we had a fabulous few hours.

I cannot fault Geraldine for her professionalism and boundless energy and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. I cannot wait to work with her again and will certainly be looking to do so when the next opportunity arises.

Wow. Where Can I start.

I've been working with Geraldine for a couple of years now and we end up producing such fantastic work each time! It's hard not to when the model/dancer is so talented and graceful as she is!

She always arrives on time, well prepared, full of ideas and suggestions. Could not ask for a better model to shoot with. HEr set of skills always surprise me and her versatility is insane. From dance to beauty and fitness.

Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone. There is nothing this girl cannot do. She is also one of the loveliest people to shoot with and you will always go home feeling happy with what you've got.

I am lucky enough to have met up with Geraldine for a few hours in Manchester city centre this weekend with a few other girls to see what shots we could get, prior comms where great & she arrived at arranged time.

Geraldine is such a talented young lady, friendly, chatty, bubbly & genuinely lovely person to be around making the shoot tons of fun. She was full of ideas, lots of patience with me with bags of energy & didn’t mind repeating a few jumps over & over, which helped me get some great shots.

So for a while, I wanted to explore more with dance and movement. Geraldine answered the call, and she certainly did not disappoint!

She is incredibly talented at what she does, and was able to improvise a whole host of different moves and positions with little direction. She also hands down one of the nicest people I’ve worked with, always smiley, and happy to do what she is clearly so passionate about.

We certainly established a very good working relationship, and the photos speak for themselves and I look forward to working with her again in the near future.

I cant recommend her enough, so all I can say is make sure you get her booked!

I attended a group shoot organised by SilkPhoto where Geraldine Bell was the model for the evening. What a friendly model she was for the evening and nothing was too much trouble for her to repeat the dance moves time after time so we could get the best shots we wanted. How amazing she was and the height she could reach from a standing start and at the height of her jump she could achieve a pose.

Geraldine was also able to pose well for portraits and nothing was too much trouble for her to pose. I would highly recommend her as a model and I would love to have another shoot with her.

I had the fabulous pleasure of working with Geraldine and partner Blair at York Photo Studio as part of an evening group shoot and the whole of the following day. Geraldine just works so hard to create great dance inspired poses and shapes, its very hard not to get many brilliant images. What do you get when you put a super talented lil' lady and a short stubby photographer in a studio.... Bloody brilliant results.

Having waited for what seemed like forever, I finally got Geraldine (and partner) into the studio. Much planning had preceded this and nothing was going to go wrong. Well, sod's law dictates that it did. Geraldine had a fall a couple of days previous to the shoot practising some of the moves we'd planned. You have to accept that these things happen and are a hazard to the job. Most would be mortified, but she powered through as best she could until I called it a day (there's only so much wincing you can watch a dancer go through before having to employ a care of duty). Did that affect the resulting shots. NOPE.

Geraldine was determined to finish the shoot as best she could and the images were as spot on as one could have expected. Comms etc are always perfect and she's now on my preferred dancer list for shoots that require her skills and "bendiness" (when not injured, haha).

If you're shooting dancers and haven't shot the lil' gem that is "Princess G", then you should make plans to do so.
