Hello! My name is Don, and I'm a photographer. I take pictures of people, places, and things (but I especially enjoy capturing images of people.) I'd love to see the amazing images we can create together.

I was drawn to photography (especially digital) because of the immediacy of the result - sort of. While you can see a preview on the back of the camera, and it can be very exciting, that is just a taste of the potential it represents. The editing process allows for an amazing transformation from “snapshot'‘ to art. I enjoy the initial glimpse as well as what might be.

I’ve always been a maker. I love to have something I can point at and say, ‘Look what I did!’ I’ve dabbled in many, many, many things - jewelry, painting, and ceramics just to name a few. And even created a few things with those pursuits that I was proud of. But it was photography that really took hold and hasn’t let go.
