Artemis Fauna

Maurice booked four hours on the recent duo event with Ayla and myself at the Hacienda.

Maurice turned up with some ideas to try out but was also happy to try out our ideas too! We worked all together and took loads of really cool shots- ranging from soft and pretty to bright and funky!

The shoot was productive, but relaxed too! In between the consumption of red cinnamon sweets (LOL) we got a lot done ;)

I hope I can work with Maurice again soon! Thank you :)

I shot with Maurice recently at the amazing Hacienda studio alongside Artemis Fauna.

Maurice was great fun to shoot with, he has so much energy and is a creative photographer, trying different angles and creating different moods. Working with two models can be tricky but Maurice did extremely well, putting in his own ideas but also listening to ours also.

Maurice was totally relaxed and made the shoot very enjoyable, I felt comfortable the entire time and Id have no problems recommending him to other models :)

There are special people and then there are REALLY special people.

Gantz is in the REALLY special people category!

We started speaking in December and communication had been fantastic, not least because he is clear, concise, funny, witty, warm, intelligent and everything you could hope for in a photographer AND a friend. He is an accomplished photographer and his concepts for his art are much as distinguished, accomplished and also more developed than the selection of images on PP do justice to, I was lucky enough to view them ahead of the shoot and was impressed by his professionalism, vision and execution.

Gantz’s style is relaxed in the right way – in that he’s casual and helpful while all the time being focused and considered on the desired shot. He understands distance, space, light, set up and composition. Gantz doesn’t just want to take a picture – he wants to tell a story, to involve the audience and to lead them to a place that they may not have visited with intelligence, good humour and subtly.

Gantz is lovely to spend time with, kind, compassionate, respectful and keen to get images that both he and the model agree have merit – he wants and encourages the model’s input in a way that makes it a team effort. As soon as you meet this man, he puts you at ease with his genuine charm, kindness, compassion for his art, empathy and desire to really make the shoot work. I enjoyed every minute and the time flew by.

Oh, and did I mention – Gantz has a killer smile! Models snap this man up if you get the chance!
