Organised Chaos

Firstly I will say how absolutely easy it is to book Geraint's studio from start of organizing to using.

The studio is nicely not in the city center of Northampton but in a very lovely outskirts area.

The Studio is called Four Winds Photography Studio & you will be grateful to know Geraint has it pinned on Google maps so you arrive straight to the door.

The studio has nice garden which you can use for shoots.

The studio though is exceptionally well thought out as you have a multitude of backdrops but also it is fully insulated , there is overhead & underfloor heating so you do not get cold .

Geraint is a friendly person who you can talk to easily & he does operate training days.

I will be rebooking again.

I went to the studio to work with another photographer and model, my first visit to the studio. It is a really nice space to work in with a quality set of lights that you can move around to create the look you are wanting for each set, Geraint was on hand at the start to show us how everything worked as well as bringing tea, most important.

A great studioo and a total recommendation from me, I'd deffo be back if it were a little closer to my base.

A studio is not my usual habitat so when Geraint put up an event inviting Purpleport members I nervously put my name in the box.

On entering the studio you are met with a warm inviting purpose built room that has enough equipment to cater for anyone’s artistic creations.

Wall backdrops, paper rolls, props aplenty and the BEST of lightning that money can buy.

As I said, a studio isn’t my usual place but Geraint’s knowledge and enthusiasm kept my attention all afternoon.

I came away with a head full of knowledge and new things to try.

Attend FWPS Studios you won’t be disappointed.

I had a great studio day at FWPS studio; the day went smoothly and Geraint is a great assistant with the lighting and helping setting up sets as when needed.

All three photographers got away with great images and were really pleased with how the day went. I highly recommend this studio for models and photographers and would definitely be back!

I had a fantastic shoot with Geraint at FWPS Studio. As well as being a fab photographer he is friendly down to earth ad very passionate about photography. This enthusiasm is evident and he is supportive of other photographers who use the studio by assisting them should they require this.

The studio is really well equipped with different lighting options. One of the great features of this studio that as well as indoor space there is also a vast private garden area too. There are lots of props to use too. I liked that I could see the photographs that were being taken if I wished to as the shoot was taking place. Am excellent studio, highly recommended.

I got to work with Geraint in his fantastic purpose built studio. There are multiple backdrops and and props. The lights are on rails that hang from the ceiling and move around effortlessly. All the cables for them are hung up off the floor.

There are multiple softboxes snoots and gels that I could see as well, that we didn't get to use.

All in all it was an incredible and well equipped studio.

This was of many shoots with Geraint at his fantastic studio outside grounds, You wouldn’t meet a nicer man. Geraint is an amazing artistic photographer His photography screams out his passion for his work, Really couldn't be happier. He also gives brilliant direction and his photography and lighting is second to none. Geraint was so very easy to work with and extremely professional. I never feel uncomfortable. It was an all-round enjoyable shoot; I adore working with a passionate photographer and cannot wait to get posting the images soon :-)

I would happily recommend Geraint to anyone and would definitely jump at the chance to work with him again at his amazing studio and grounds at FWPS-Studio :-)

Shot again at this excellent studio, Geraint who owns the studio is also an excellent photographer, who also trains photographers ,this is a great facility for both . Geraint explains things well and his passion for his topic comes through ,and can not fail to rub off on his students. Also on offer is a great private outside space which offers a variety of scenarios for the professional, amateur , student alike . So if you require a studio, photographer, or some training Geraint is your man . Would definitely recommend all Geraint has on offer. FWPS is a purpose built studio ,built and designed by a photographer , it is a very versatile , it also has a great outside space and would cater for most photographers needs . It is in mint condition and has a quality finish a variety of backgrounds and lighting . Geriant is on hand and seems happy to assist with lightning and explanations on how and why it is applied ,which is useful for the lesser experienced like myself . Geriant has offered me tips and useful advice and been most helpful . If you need a studio space I would certainly recommended FWPS . Hope to use this studio again soon . Many Thanks Geriant .

I was invited to work at FWPS-Studio for a full day session. Greeted by a smile I was immediately offered a hot drink which was more than welcome as it was a freezing day.

The studio - Wow!

My first thought upon entering was how warm it was, my second was how spacious.

Geraint has made excellent use of the space, everything has been thought out and put to best effect. Ceiling mounted plugs and heaters mean for a clean uncluttered and most importantly safe environment, no leads or light stands for children to trip over is a major plus.

The back wall has a huge interchangeable paper backdrop that is big enough to host groups, the two side walls both have additional interchangeable backdrops.

Lighting is extensive and well thought out. There are other items to bring into play to create effects such as a smoke machine and a very effective wind machine.

A very comfortable and sensible height double seated swing, an exercise bar, a rope and a rather unique box that just has to be seen.

It has the additional benefit of achievable blackout which can be very useful indeed.

There are numerous stools chairs, bean bags etc for use.

I have been and worked in many studios over the years and in my opinion this studio has everything you could possibly want and then some.

To sum it up, superb, you will not be disappointed.
