About me

In 2009, I was involved in a car crash that nearly killed me. Round about the same time, I lost my job, my flat, a LOT of my books, my career as a massage therapist and a lot of other things. I also found out I was autistic, which explained a lot of things that had been going on in my life.

I developed PTSD. I developed some incredibly debilitating back pain. I had to get some minor spinal surgery.

Very little of this actually slowed me down for long.

I started experimenting with PhotoShop. I took pictures, edited them and uploaded them. I started creating short videos. I started performing naked, for hen parties. I got involved in performance art. I developed a concept for an art installation that I want to act on. I learned about silk screen printing.

I started to become comfortable - or, at least, less uncomfortable - with people calling me an artist. Sometimes, I even felt prepared to call myself an artist.

I still don't know where I'm going with all this. It's ten years on from that car accident and I'm still working it out as I go along.
