This was the second shoot Fuchsia and I have had. We were shooting a themed series at the Regency Town House in Brighton. Fuchsia came with four handmade Regency dresses and props and was a pleasure to photograph.

We had a really productive two hours and got through a wide range of looks (and three dresses).

A true professional and a great person to boot. Always happy to book Fuchsia for a sitting. Thoroughly recommended!

Well, what can one say about Fuchsia? Words don't really do justice. She is more a force of nature that can't be pinned down. But, as this is a reference, I guess I have to try and find the words. I can say that she takes direction well - and it will be true. I can say that she is a creative model and that would also be true. I can say that she can transmit a range of emotions towards the camera, again that would be true. It sounds so boring though and doesn't give the really true picture. Just book her, then you will know what I mean and you will also be hard pressed to convey in words her abilities. I will be working with her again. Indeed, she has been cast as the lead in a film I am currently at work upon - The House Rules.

Third shoot with BusyLittleBee in three months, what can I add that I haven’t already said about her, her enthusiasm and commitment to the shoots we’ve had is amazing. As usual the time absolutely flew by and by the end we were already planning a fourth shoot, that is the best recommendation this photographer can give!

My second shoot with BusyLittleBee was as enjoyable and successful as the first, with more wonderful twisty stretchy poses, as before she found exactly the right little finishing flourishes and looks that make all the difference to a shot. An absolute pleasure to work with, the time really flew by so I'm really looking forward to the arranging the third shoot as well!

Lawless Zero

This was my first time working with Fuchsia, but it certainly won't be the last! She was great from the first email through to the final shot. We had a good line of communication whilst I was explaining what I was wanting to achieve from the shoot. Fuchsia brought her own suggestions (and an epic curly long purple wig) to my ideas and we ended up collaborating to get some excellent shots.

As a person Fuchsia was all that I could have hoped for and had boundless energy and enthusiasm on the day. We struck up a great dialogue and there was a very positive vibe for the shoot. Whilst totally professional, the two hours we spent shooting flew by and it was both fun and interesting.

Any other photographer considering working with Fuchsia would be wrong to assume that the chair may limit the creativity of what Fuchsia can bring to a shoot. I'd say that it actually added extra dimensions and possibilities for approaching composition in fresh ways.

Thanks so much for your hard work and strong look. I will certainly be looking to book Fuchsia in the future. EPIC!

Had a really wonderful shoot with BusyLittleBee yesterday. From the excellent comms before the shoot I guessed we would get on, (we have very similar interests in art and film) but never has a model so utterly confounded my expectations, this girl puts many able bodied models to shame. You can really tell she has dance training, she came up with loads of superb twisty and stretchy poses for me, took direction brilliantly, not that she needed much if any, she picked up the kind of thing I was after almost immediately. I can’t wait to organise another shoot!

Fuchsia is Amazing. As person and as Model.

What an incredible shooting today. Despite the cold but sunny weather we shoot together exploring my new place for Urbex shooting. Her determination to achieve the best picture is equal to her big heart and passion of Modelling. I love her. I love her determination. I love work with her. Such inspiring and challenging experience.

We fight the cold, the humidity, we laugh a lot and chat as well. Very easy work with and focused.

I definitely with no doubt recommend her, she is great.

We going to work again, right?

She turned up on time, gave 100%, was professional throughout the shoot and was a pleasure to work with.

This was my first shoot with Fushcia and hopefully it wont be the last :)

Communication before the shoot was excellent and she supplied the clothes we had agreed on, the shoot was planned as a street portraiture session and the time flew by with lots of images captured but more importantly ideas for future shoots.

Fushcia poses well independently but also takes direction well, she has a very can do attitude and great personality, definitely recommended.

I had my first shoot with Fuchsia yesterday and was more than pleased with the results.

We had good communicatins beforehand and she has a good wardrope to work with.

Though disability may have its problems, it also has its light and Fuchsia shone! And I'm not trying to be poetic.

A joy to work with. She takes direction well and though is skilled enough not to need help with posing etc.

We will definitely shot again as we've opened a can of ideas to get through!

I had a lot of fun working with Fuschia. Great pre-(and post-) shoot communications meant that we both came to the shoot with ideas and got some great results. She comes across as very confident and was very interesting to chat with (as well as patient as I experimented with different lights).

She has lots of cool ideas and I hope to work with her again soon.

I had the pleasure of my first shoot with Fuchsia, she is a great character, great fun to work with and very enthusiastic. Fuchsia's communication before hand and on the day of the shoot was excellent. She came well prepared with the items we had discussed.

Shooting with Fuchsia was a pleasure, she is very energetic, but needs to be allowed to rest, she enjoys posing so much she just wants to keep going. She poses well on her own, but also takes direction well. A real joy to work with.

We covered so much in the timescale and produced some great images. I definitely hope want to shoot with her again soon.

EdenGarden

BLB stayed overnight at EdenGarden and we had a great shoot, got some lovely images and thoroughly enjoyed her company.

Communications - best yet, very prompt, clear understanding of what we were going to attempt. Excellent, and gave us confidence in her before we had even met BLB.

She arrived on the dot, after quite a long car journey. Brought all the items we had discussed and then some more. For the shoot itself we took most of the images we had planned, plus more that were impromtu from our collaborative inputs.

BusyLittleBee was amazingly patient when we needed to experiment and put sets together and totally dedicated to getting the shot and was completely comfortable in her own skin. She was such a joy to shoot with that we extended the shoot into the next day with some additional ideas that had developed.

Forgetting the modelling aspect altogether, she is a truly inspirational, positive lady that is overcoming some terrible injuries. BLB you are welcome here anytime - modelling or not.

I had the pleasure of working with Fuschia for the first time on a Regency themed shoot at the Brighton Pavilion and surrounding areas. Our pre-shoot communications were excellent and by the time we met the theme for the shoot and locations were already in place.

Fuchsia turned up on time and even bought along several props which added to the overall effect we were creating. She takes direction well although it was rarely needed as her understanding of the period meant every pose was perfect.

I have to add that Fuchsia made the dress that she wore and she understands the period so well creating all the right poses from the era.

The shoot was fun and relaxed which I always like but she was professional throughout and we managed to create some stunning images together.

Despite her disability she gives 100%, never complained and was an absolute pleasure to work with. I am sure we will be working again soon and would recommend her to any photographers.

I can barely believe it has been 6 months since I last did a shoot with Fuchsia. Once again everything was smooth, efficient and clear cut arranging, and discussing the shoot itself.

I have admiration for Fuchsia, she works hard and combats her disability well, it is a humbling experience to team up and shoot with her.

Fuchsia takes direction well, is a team player and never complains, added to which she is a modest person with drive, enthusiasm and genuine passion for what she does.

Please remember and bear in mind Fuchsia's invalidity as a wheel chair user with a disability, and what I've already explained about her now that I go on to state that Fuchsia should be a role model to some on this site, certainly not the sort of model to let anyone down or not put 100% into the shoot.

Help Fuchsia, and she will help you, with just a little patience and understanding comes huge rewards. It certainly made my day today to give something back, and to help someone that deserves it.

I did a shoot with Fuchsia today, pre shoot communications were conducted promptly, efficiently and kept professional.

This was my first time shooting a disabled model ( well at least to my knowledge ) and I was relishing the thought of shooting something new and different, the challenges and the rewards.

I arrived at the agreed shoot location about ten minutes early, Fuchsia was already there waiting for me having made the commitment of several hours driving time and had left home at 6.45 am so 10 out of 10 for her sterling efforts.

Despite Fuchsia's invalidity she is not permanently glued to her wheel chair and exercises a steely determination not to be restricted in any way by her disability. The theme was in the main figure nude featuring the wheel chair, the only thing that held back Fuchsia's modelling was rainfall and members of the public turning up unexpectedly, the sort of occupational hazard we both accept when shooting on location.

We briefly left for a separate location to escape the hindrances and shot a few frames elsewhere then returned to our original plan. Unfortunately it was soon to turn wet again and we were also interrupted by visitors once again. Sadly they were in no hurry to leave so we called it a wrap, not many shots were taken but we were more than happy with what we had both achieved and decided to shoot again and for longer next time. Roll on the new year, looking forward to shooting this young lady again.

I worked with Fuchsia a few days ago on a large group Marie Antoinette themed shoot with 3 other models, costume designer and makeup artist. The fact that she was so enthusiastic to the shoot she drove from Brighton, to the midlands and back in 1 day is testament to her commitment as a model!

She is motivated, and a sheer delight to work with, she follows direction well, and brings her own ideas and poses too. Her background in performing arts means she really knows her body and how to pull off some fantastic shapes.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Fuchsia as a model, and it would be a pleasure to work with her again in the future!
