We all have stories. They’re everywhere, whether hiding behind a shadow or dancing in the spotlight. I like to study the tension between light and shadow and mix that tension with new perspectives. Each mix brings out a unique feature of the subject and tells its own story. My photographs try to capture both the light and the essence of the subjects, because nestled in between the everyday events are glimpses of who we are and the stories we’re trying to tell.
