I have been a professional American traveling model since Jan ’09. I’ve posed in most US states [plus Puerto Rico], as well as Canada, Cuba, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Cambodia, the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany.

What sets me apart as a model:

1. Extra athletic: shaolin kung fu and muay thai practitioner, certified yoga and skiing instructor, rock climber, scuba diver, avid runner, general lover of extreme sports, bodily expression, and skilled manual labor.

2. All-natural: no tattoos/piercings/modifications/dyes of any kind, unshaved, good skin. I can do my makeup, but much of the time I’m asked to pose naked-faced.

3. Adventurous, divergent-thinking-inclined, and genuinely interested in photography [which I also do: some of my portfolio images are self portraits] and the synergistic, organic process of working creatively with someone else! It’s why I still do this for a living, and I have hundreds of glowing references to back me up!

Fun supplemental info [i.e., less pertinent to modeling, but perhaps still of interest to prospective clients as they cobble together a bit of a picture of who I am and what drives me].

During my years as a model, I've also:
—Spent six months living out of a tent in the backcountry of Kings Canyon National Park, bathing in snow melt and using my drystone masonry skills to build trails at altitudes exceeding 13,000 feet.
—Scaled mountains by Yellowstone in order to collect high-alpine air samples for ecological research, as part of a one-of gig where I was hired for my mountaineering experience.
—Built and operated large-scale pyrotechnics projects for events across on several continents, as well as large art installations for Burning Man [most notably Embrace—the seven-story building from '14 shaped like two people hugging, which I spent six months of my life fiendishly devoted to, mainly as a carpenter] and other regional events.
—Operated heavy machinery in various contexts [once, oddly enough, it was part of a photo shoot!]
—Found other creative outlets and revenue sources via writing, drawing, singing, and acting.
—Ridden a bicycle 3,000 miles up the US east coast alone, while touring as a model [and let me tell you, making sure I showed up to every shoot, not only without tan lines and saddle sores, but looking fresh and rested, was no mean feat]—my blog of that trip can be found on my website [ [url removed] ].
