Frans Pegt attended the school of Photography in Apeldoorn. After graduation he continued his education at the Academy of art in Rotterdam, where he majored in visual communication and fine arts.
At the start of his career, in 1983, he worked as a salesman of professional photo equipment at Capi Lux Vak.
In 1989 he started as an independent advertisement photograper. He was among the first in the Netherlands to change to digital photography in 1996. As a studio photographer, and being responsible for a high quality output. Pegt started to study color management and the output in print work.
In 2007 he exchanged his photostudio for the studio’s of the Rijksmuseum. As a staff photography he is responsible for the digitisation of the collection of the Rijksmuseum in a standardised workflow. He is also involved in the research and testing of a measured and controlled photographic workflow and the metamorfoze project.

Thank you for visiting my profile.
In addition to my normal work as a photographer, I now want to focus on portrait photography and fine art model photography. For that I am now doing preparation and testing. In a while I will be wording on a large series of photos of inspiring people.
There are some nude photos in my profile that were some photos for fun. I have experimented with that with Polaroid, which photos can also be seen.
