2nd Curtain Photography

Had another great shoot with Helen at my studio.

Helen always turns up with a great attitude & a big desire to produce some great shots & an even bigger bag of goodies & outfits to shoot in.

This time we did a mix of double exposures, hollywood lighting & some light painting.

Helen always embraces my concepts and we have an emense amount of fun doing them. Super friendly, & we always have a great chat & catch up before we shoot.

I'm always a little deflated when the shoot comes to an end as I could work with helen all day, but there's always the next one to look forward to.

Thank you helen for yet another great shoot - Highly recommended.

These was 2nd shoot with Helen and what a different and amazing shoot it was.

The first shoot was outdoors and got published in magazine as well. These time we thought of doing something fun and colorful in Studio with gels and some more themes.

As usual , Helen was on time and makeup already done and she has brought an amazing wardrobe matching the themes we were going to cover.

She was as usual amazing with the poses and very patient when I fumbled with gels and we got some amazing results.

Every shoot I do with Helen is an absolute joy from start to finish. Pre-shoot comms are spot on, she arrives early, is well prepared with a good assortment of outfits, she smiles and it is now like meeting a good friend. She is soon ready and poses competently without the need for direction. We chat as we go (I like that) and she never disappoints. We review the images as we go and I like it that she captures a few boc images so I know she is happy with what we are doing. We have worked together a few times now and I am confident we will work together again soon. Highly recommended to photographers of all levels. You will not be disappointed.

It was a pleasure to welcome the always Helen to my neck of the woods again, for a rather blustery sea-front shoot, our theme the day was urban-fashion & Helen did not disappoint epic pose after epic pose, really didn't know where the 4 hours went!

I always look forward to working with Helen as we always get something so different every time & I can't wait till our next meetup!

This was Helen and mine's first shoot together, and it was the opportunity to shoot something slightly different from my usual. It proved to be better than I could've hoped for, including with a few experimental images, which I didn't know how, or even if they'd work, but it was all good and those few hours just disappeared in the blink of an eye. That's when I know it's been a good shoot!

Helen-Rose is very easy to work with, and pretty easy going, which suits me fine. We were both happy trying things even if we weren't sure of the outcome, and it all made for a very enjoyable, and relaxed shoot.

I would happily have Helen-Rose back another time, she's a lovely lady, with an enthusiastic, and willing attitude; plus you get to create those lovely images :)

We had decided to do a fashion /lifestyle shoot in Brighton with lots of colors around the city. She was on time and brought an perfect wardrobe to match the theme

So new camera, new lights, new studio layout - what could possibly go wrong? Luckily I was shooting with Helen-Rose who has the patience of a saint. I must thank her for her tolerance and forbearance as I fumbled my way through the first 25 frames or so. Once I sorted things out the shoot proceeded very well and I'm delighted with the images we produced.

Our pre-comms were very good and we had an agreed plan. Helen was on time with a mass of stuff and a very bright and cheerful attitude. She understood the brief very well and created a good variety of poses to match each set. It was very easy to work with her and the entire shoot was a pleasurable, fun experience.

Yes I would work with her again and Yes she is Highly recommended.

After 2 years of trying we finally got to shoot. The wait was entirely due to my family trials and tribulations.

Helen is extremely laid back and was so helpful, and grasped what I was after. She is also a great conversationalist, and that in itself led to a happy relaxed atmosphere.

I look forward to working with her again.

Another lovely location shoot with Helen-Rose today. Despite the blistering heat we got some great images, thanks to Helen-Rose's wonderful wardrobe and unfailingly good ideas.

As usual, Helen arrived early and was raring to go right from the start, full of cheerful chat and helpful hints.

Helen is always great fun to work with and so I'd happily recommend her to anyone. :)

What can I say? Shooting with Helen is always a joy. She shows up on time (or normally early), she is ready with make-up and outfits as agreed. Pre-shoot communication is easy and focused and she is a credit to the industry. We met at a location in Essex and walked along the waterside picking out spots to shoot. Helen poses without the need for direction. She is confident in what she does. We review the images as we go along and she is always pleased with what we create (as am I of course). Our time together passed quickly but I am confident we have again captured some great images. Helen is also an experienced photographer so I willl share images with her and she will do some edits too. I like that - for me it is interesting to see what she chooses and how she edits them. I know not every photographer is comfortable with that but for me it is a bonus as Helen's edits are different to mine. Highly recommended to photographers of all levels.

C-Imagery

Another chance to hit the beach with the always amazing Helen, everything just slotted in place, great weather, quiet beach & Helen being just so awesome, so many looks (wet & dry :D) fashion, beach wear & many more, 4 hours is never enough when working with Helen. We've already starting planning our next adventure!

11 out of 10 (and I mean that!!) & just totally brilliant to work with.

Fun packed shoot with Helen as ever. She gets creative with the clothes and styling I get creative with the lighting and it works brilliantly.

Part two of a shoot with Helen. Comms were good and it was also good to be able to use Helen's local knowledge for locations as well as her working with what I had found. Patient when my lights failed to work “as advertised” and good at helping develop a Plan B to overcome that little snag. I just hope that I get my Photoshop skills up to allow the final montages that are to be based upon this shoot.

After some serious forward planning, I finally had the pleasure of working with Helen and it was well worth the wait. As you might expect comms prior to the shoot were 1st rate and she arrived spot on time and ready to shoot. Great attitude and posed effortlessly.

She worked tirelessly for the 2 hour shoot and was very patient with a rather challenging setup I had proposed for 1 particular shot I had in mind.

Looking forward to getting the final images edited up and certainly working with Helen again in the future. Thoroughly recommended.

My first shoot with Helen was woodland themed, where she was portraying a mythical nymph with flute and violin. It was only a short two hour shoot, but we created some wonderful pictures, and Helen far exceeded my expectations. Fast forward twelve months, and we're all set for our second shoot together.

Outdoors once again - to make the most of the lovely weather, but this time in a more urban setting, making use of some grungy old railway arches. I asked Helen if we could try and create some edgy fashion style images, and straight away, she was so up for it!

I also wanted to experiment with video, and was delighted when Helen showed so much enthusiasm for this, and even serenaded us (me and my wife), with some Bach on her violin! Helen looked amazing in the outfits we agreed on, but when she emerged from a quick change in her car wearing her snakeskin catsuit.....WOW! One word - Spectacular! :D She is so versatile - as her portfolio will prove, and so talented too, but more than that - she is genuinely a lovely, lovely person :)
