Had a really very lovely and fun shoot with Nick in Barnet, London. Just so easy to get on with, let alone highly skilled at photography. Nick was very welcoming and very good with communication and organisation on the lead up to our shoot; coming up with exciting and creative ideas which he pulled off expertly. Would love to work with Nick again! Thank you for a wonderful shoot, I look forward to seeing the images!

Had a great day working with nick in a workshop with Sony in Sheffield.
Before meeting he was concise, professional and consistent in communication leading up to the shoot.
looked after me the whole day, we were both really happy with the result of our work and on both parties I would definitely work with him again.
look forward to working with you again Nick! Perhaps next time in London!

After much discussion and planning, Nick turned up in his chariot complete with things to take a photograph with. We walked down a steep cliff, then back up. We then drove to another cliff. We walked down and back up, then collected our necessities and walked down again. I got soaked, covered and sand and lost my shoes. He fiddled with his camera. Maybe took some photos... maybe. We walked back up the cliff again. After de-sanding everything we own, we drove back to his chariot, where he went on his onward journey. And I am still here to tell the tale.
Great communication and very professional, Nick was easy to work with and I can't wait to see the results. Highly recommended! :)

I've worked with Nick on two occasions now and both were jolly good fun.
Since Nick is a keen marine biologist, our first shoot consisted of us travelling to the bottom of the ocean in search for a limbed clam, who enjoys walking in a bipedal fashion across the ocean floor whilst smoking a fluorescent pink pipe. Whilst at the ocean bed, we bumped into none other than Pat Sharp, Jason Donovan and Fred Dineage, who were deeply fixated in a card game. I'm not too sure what card game they were playing. I've never been very good at card games, but I think I heard them saying 'Snap' a lot. Nick was patient with me at all times whilst explaining the rules. Which was nice. Due to the complexity of the game, I decided to sit and watch, which was still rather enjoyable. After a short while, the card game started to get a little heated and Pat hurt is hand, so we all decided play a round of golf together instead. Just the nine holes, mind you, as we still had a lot of work to do and the full 18 would be far too time consuming. Especially with Pat holding us up with his wounded hand. Plus, it proved to be a comparatively taxing task due to the crushing pressure of the deep water, I struggled somewhat whist I tried to get a decent swing on the club. Fred Dineage was pretty good at it. I was most impressed. We ate digestive biscuits for lunch, but alas, they were a bit salty tasting and soggy so I didn't finish mine, I guess that they're not designed as an underwater snack. Then suddenly I realised that Nick was morphing into different creatures. First a camel and then a toucan. I found this fascinating since I've never seen a camel at the bottom of an ocean before. Nor a toucan for that matter. Unfortunately we were unable to find the limbed, pipe-smoking clam (known to his friends as Geoffry). However, Nick did get some great pictures of a multicoloured, bioluminescent octopus called Samuel. I liked Samuel, he was a good laugh and all round pleasant company.
For our second shoot, we spent the day in a rainforest. Nick is ex-SAS, so the requirements for this particular job was for me to embark on intensive training whilst dressed as Rod Stewart. Nick hacked his way through the dense undergrowth with a machete. Considering I'm still new to this SAS lark and machetes are rather sharp, Nick, being the ever organised one, was kind enough to provide me with a Swiss Army knife. I found the tooth pick to be immensely useful. Then the penny dropped... I realised at that very moment that Nick was not only a marine biologist, a photographer, a shape-shifter and a former member of the SAS, but he was also a wizard. I attempted a joke and called him Gandalf, at which he rolled his eyes. Of course! He must hear that same lame 'joke' all the time. I felt utterly foolish. However, Nick was polite and courteous regarding the whole awkward situation. He gently informed me that his professional wizard name was Douglas McDouglason the Third and most definitely not Gandalf.
I had a great time working with Nick, pre-shoot coms were excellent too. Which is always a bonus from my part.
Highly recommended!

Don’t you just love it when a random bloke turns up at your house expecting you to get your kit off…well that didn't happen. Batman responded to my distress call with about as much grace and elegance as he could muster in a latex jumpsuit. He never uttered a word, simply wrote in the dust across every surface of my house! Insisting I join him for a 'gallivant'. How could i refuse? With a wave of my magic mop I became Robin, vaulted upon his noble steed and we departed upon a cloud of glitter.
The sparklyness delivered us to the most idyllic location you could imagine, waterfalls, hummingbirds and gentle rays of warming sun blessed us on our mission that day (actually we got bloody freezing and blown inside out but thats boring)
Magic happened, the lens cap was removed and a chorus of angels proclaimed that perfection had been epitomised by this brave duo.
Batman said he would mentally download his recollections of our magic moments together, and a convent of nuns would being their life's work of embroidering the next tapestry to hang in the vatican.
All in all, a good non-rapey/axe murdering kind of experience, but I'm assured he will try harder next time ;)

I did a quick shoot with Nick for his Christmas cards which was arranged in short notice but with plenty of info. The shoot was fairly short as he knew what he wanted and made it happen which I think is a good thing! A make-up artist was provided and everything went great. He was even very understanding about my Phoenix accompanying me to the shoot and I really cannot wait for our next shoot which I believe will feature my fantastic scalectrix set....it's something the world needs to see you know!
In all seriousness...a lovely guy and fantastic photographer....a pleasure to work with!

Had a great 2 day shoot with Nick this week. He is so funny, had me in hysterics all the time and made me feel comfortable, as well as the quilt and pillows he bought along with him, allowing me to have at least 2 afternoon naps each day as and when I wanted.
He had great communication prior to the shoot and was very helpful. The images looked a little shabby, but he need not worry about that, as Sony have now employed me as their global ambassador to replace Nick (free latest Sony camera thrown in too!)
So anyway, all in all Nick was great to work with and I had a fab experience during our shoots. No doubt I will see and work with Nick again soon - well I hope, as hes a amazing model and actor too!! :D

I just did a test shoot with Nick. He is a great guy, very professional but relaxed, loved his sense of humour, straight talking and honest.
Gave clear direction, used a good studio and a great MUA. I very much hope to be working with Nick in the future.
