Lit by the moon beams ....

This image of the stunning, beautiful nude model, Elle Beth, this was my very first dance inspired Model shoot, so despite being cliche, I wanted to capture her in her ballet clothing. This was one of a set of poses I asked Elle to create for me, so that I could have a collection of images all related to one another, using similar lighting and post production techniques. I wanted Elle to glow like she’d been lit by the moon, so over half the body is lit by harsh lighting, which dramatically lights the legs, tulle skirt and chest, leaving the light to spill and fade away into the mysterious darkness, quite contrasted shadows to finish the effect I wanted.
