Captured this moment as this KC-135 was making a landing in RAF Mildenhall, home of the 100th ARW, and being the only modern unit in the U.S Air Force allowed to have its war-time tail code (Square D) depicted, as a tribute for the staggering high losses they suffered during WW2, having one of the highest casualty ratings of any unit
It was a particular sunny day, but i wanted to make the nose art stand out, so i've decided to remove all colour from the image except for the fox itself
