Had a wonderful bridal shoot with Fiona who was mentoring for the day. She’s a brilliant photographer, as well as a tutor, with a great eye for lighting, posing, framing and with a real emphasis on storytelling - which shows in her images. We shot a range of styles throughout the day, as Fiona is versatile, creative and inspiring to work with. Couldn’t recommend her enough.

Fiona chose me as one of the models for her final 'nudes in clay' project, for which I'm very grateful. She had taken the time to choose and hire two amazing derelict buildings, which suited the theme perfectly and in my opinion had thought of everything to ensure both myself and Pippa (the other model on the day) were as comfortable as possible..

The shoot was always going to be fairly high stress as Fiona was working to a strict brief from her mentor, but her direction is flawless and she communicated her ideas brilliantly, bringing moodboard images and acting out the motions herself so we knew exactly what we were doing.

Fiona had a female assistant who was equally as lovely.. models applied their own clay and a hairdryer helped keep us warm and for it to dry quickly..

Afterwards, Fiona drove us to her house to thoroughly wash, get clean and comfortable again.. she was super hospitable and lovely.. the kind of person you enjoy hanging around, as if you've known her years.

She clearly has an excellent vision, and is a super creative person.. I'm sure the enormous amount of effort, not just from the shoot I did, but collective shoots for her final exhibition will pay off, and I am looking forward to hopefully attending the exhibition, and looking forward to seeing what she does next!

Artemis Fauna

I worked with Fiona for the second time just yesterday on our first 1-2-1 shoot.

Fiona had very clear and focused ideas to work on yesterday for an important project and I was flattered she picked me to work with!

The idea was amazing, creative and looked fantastic, but it was a challenge, one of my most physically challenging shoots in 8 years!! But I did enjoy it. I like challenges and I can't wait to see the results in a few months time.

Thank you Fiona, the idea and location you found were super. I hope we can shoot again one day! :)
