Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Arfon contacted me a long time ago about a booking at Basford Hurst Cottage, everything was swiftly organised with ease!! Pre comms were great and Afron arrived with Steph on time with everything he needed for the shoot!

Arfon is wonderful!! He is easy to talk to, friendly, polite and completely respectful of our location. He is also a fantastic photographer, bringing loads of incredible ideas to the shoot and always full of enthusiasm!

I would have no hesitation to recommend Arfon and really hope to welcome him back to Basford again soon!! Thank you Arfon!!

I had the pleasure of working with Arfon today at my home.

Pre comms were amazing and we quickly settled on our theme/style. We made great use of the space and a few outfit changes it was a wrap.

The time flew by amongst laughs, chats and generally making magic with the camera.

Arfon is very professional and made me feel instantly comfortable. What a gentleman he is.

Thank You for coming to see me on my studio day at Pathway. I had a problem with my hot water and electric that morning 🤬 However I managed to get it sorted and only had to move all slots back one hour. You were very understanding and hopefully the images made up for the inconvenience.

We still got our 2 hour slot done and I so honestly really impressed with what I was on the camera. Some of the best shots of the day!

You arrived on time, communication organising the shoot were spot on and you actually nailed a shot I've never done before 👌🏾

You were really polite, chatty And Funny! Not a negative thing to say and I really hope we cross paths again.

2W Location

We were pleased to welcome Arfon to Two Wei after his mammoth trip to get here. He's well organised and had thoroughly researched our location prior to his shoot so that he could get the most out of his visit. We really appreciated him sharing a copy of his story board with us too.

Arfon worked well and professionally with his model and we believe they had a very productive time on their shoot - can't wait to see some images.

I Worked with Arfon for the second time it was a fabulous shoot as always Arfon was an absolute pleasure to work with.

He always works to a very high standard and took some amazing photos and also very easy warm considerate with my levels as an amateur.

Arfon even helped me with poses as often he correct little mistakes so I was not exposing myself to open legged shots or things that went above my levels he was always very professional polite and I felt very safe and respected by him.

I highly respect and trust Arfon very comfortable with him because he will shoot up to the levels and being an amateur he not only has made me feel very safe but I am able to trust he is looking out for my best interest on a shoot not everyone I have worked with dose this and has made me feel wary and uncomfortable as they want explicit content and some people don’t correct your poses or help this never ever happened with Arfon he’s very kind always helpful shows you all images too but you never get to the point where he’s pushing you above levels anyway, Arfron will only shoot up to the levels you say he is one of a few photographers I will happily work with on a TFP basis knowing I will get a Tfp ( trusted final photo) Arfon is a very warm person and also takes his time with lighting and natural light as well as photoshop his attention to detail before and after shoots shows in his work a lot of photographers are not up to this standard also Arfon gives you a lot if not all the photos to view so you are able to choose your posts not all photographers do this so this is why I would highly recommend Arfon he is only one of a few photographers I would work with again and again as I said I will happily work TFP with him I only work TFP with a very select few photographers.

I trust Arfon both as an artist and having a working professional relationship and very happy to shoot with him again he is lovely to work with its why I have given him a long review as we have done a few paid shoots he never ever pushes levels and he’s amazing to work with and hes very respectful the work is always amazing also.

Yet another fabulous shoot with this fantastic photographer. I always enjoy a creative shoot with Arfon, he has the perfect mix of friendly, fun and professionalism and can put anyone at ease. He had some great ideas and direction, but always takes models ideas into account, and we end up with a mix of varied images and a productive day. He always has a clear idea of what he wants to achieve, and his communication is excellent, and we still end up on tangents and achieve the unexpected as well as the planned. Its always going to be a good day with fidster photography, and I hope for many more in the future. I would urge any model, of any level, to jump at the chance to work with Arfon. Experienced and skilled, achieves some great results.

Crossroads Studio

Arfon attended a studio day here at Crossroads Studio hosted by Gina Ogden.

Despite the distance Arfon travelled he was here in plenty of time for the shoot.

He is a knowledgeable photographer and had discussed his ideas with Gina prior to the shoot.

His ideas are really creative and he is someone that I would think anyone can get along with.

His shoot was easy going and fun for both him and Gina.

He is very respectful of his models and explains just what he would like to achieve in each set.

It is a very long way for him to travel but I would be delighted to see him return

Arfon is one of the best photographers I have worked with he’s extremely talented looking through the photos as a beginner amateur model at 30.

I can’t believe the amazing work he did for my portfolio.

I am absolutely thrilled with Arfon skill and work, Arfon also was kind enough to upload all of the photos to dropbox even though this was a paid shoot, he gave me all of the photos not all photographers do this so very grateful as I have plenty of photos for social media once properly edited but I wouldn’t say to take advantage of this kindness its extremely rare for photographers to do this but I LOVE the work we did, Arfon is extremely kind to do this and is a very warm professional person I have had the privilege of working with.

Arfon is well worth working with he is very talented and highly skilled, at what he does he is very technical with lighting and prep on shoots, but it’s always a very relaxed environment where I felt completely relaxed and happy.

Arfon is a perfectionist and very strategic and like all artists it takes time and effort, he puts a lot of work and effort in the equipment he brings to shoots, this shows in his work as I am absolutely stunned and happy with his work, as I am an amateur model I am not great at posing Arfon was very helpful never pushy with movements or looks his work is amazing, Arfon’s skill with lighting has made my pictures perfect for social media and my portfolio to get more work and put forward to agencies.

I am extremely happy Arfon is very easy going and makes you feel comfortable I asked for help through ought the shoot with clothing as I struggle with my long nails he’s an absolute gentleman, he’s very kind and considerate during the shoots he’s also very polite and very approachable and easy to talk to even on a paid shoot he was never ever demanding or bossy about what he wanted, he was professional through ought very chilled.

I would highly recommend him not only for his high skill set but his down to earth personality and also his very professional very focused but very fun and relaxed work ethics. I am excited to work with him again and can’t wait to show off my photos I can’t recommend Arfon enough his work is amazing and he’s a lovely man.

Had a last minute shoot with Arfon and wow we did so so well i threw a load of things in a suit case 2 days before as last minute arrangement and got some fabulous images , at a lovely studio in stockport cannot wait to see edits as the unedited were fabulous , 2nd time working with this wonderful photographer

One of my last shoots ever was with this epic fellow - even though I was full of cold, we pressed on and had a very cool location shoot!

Arfon is such a dude, we have a humour vibe going and he takes cracking shots - what more could I ask for, on my penultimate shoot?!

I can't recommend the one and only Fidster enough to all, he;s not just an utterly cool human to hang out with but he is a fabby photographer too - thank you for all of the brilliant shoots we've had over the years, BOOM ♥

What a totally fabulous shoot last week at pathways studio with Arfon. Turned up to mine took me to shoot and back too. We had a laugh with the mua seperationg 5000 rose petals fpr pit shoot hahah but hey we got it sorted and this is one of many shoots together. Arfon made me feel very relaxed and was a total gentleman , proffesional and worked with me and mua steph , to get the best out of this shoot fpr 1 of 12 photos for my Calendar, had a wonderful day shooting and will be seeing Arfon again soon for mext instalement to the calendar , you lucky man lol. Highly reccommend to models new or experienced.

Arfon came to shoot myself and Bad Dolly together this week, he is such a cool guy - he came with lots of epic ideas, which looked amazing on back of camera!

I love how creative he is when creating scenes and emotions to shoot, it was really fun to put into practice and he is such a dude to hang out with :)

I can't wait to work with this fantastic fellow again in June - I cannot recommend the lovely Arfon enough to all models and studios :)

Bad Dolly

Today I had a great first shoot with Arfon! He bought milk so I could have copious amounts of tea, he bought a great portable lighting set with a brilliant moodboard to get the shoot going! It was a duo shoot with Jezebelle and Arfon was so good at getting our best angles, giving direction when needed and also letting us free pose too.

We all had a great 4 hours and flowed from set to set, bouncing ideas back and forth between the 3 of us and getting the best out of the shoot :)

Lovely chap, creative photographer and I would 100% recommend him to all models :)

Had an absolutely great, first shoot with Arfon on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Arfon was extremely organised and all communications were clearly detailed. He even met me and dropped me back off at a station closer to me despite going out of his way which was very kind of him. Arfon is friendly, respectful, professional and all round top bloke despite having to deal with me coughing and spluttering throughout the shoot (dreaded lurgy!). I was equally impressed with the fact that Arfon takes great pride in his photography with creative ideas and attention to detail and doesn’t just shoot for the sake of it which is clearly highlighted in his fab work. The shoot was laid back and chilled but productive nonetheless. From what I already seen we produced some superb images and worked well as a team. Arfon gets my upmost recommendation. Don't miss the opportunity to work with this fantastic photographer and thank you once again for a great day. Very much looking forward to a future shoot :)

Arfon came along to a pin up event that Valis Volkova and I held at Montrose Studios last weekend, he is an absolute star, with his wonderful personality and the epic way he has around the camera!

He is a favourite to work with, his images are always cool and he is 100% recommended by me - you gotta work with the amazing Arfon!

I had a great second shoot with Arfon a couple of weeks ago. Pre-shoot comms were excellent and the date was quickly sorted. We went to two locations that day - blessed with the incredible weather we have been having, we were mindful of too much direct sunlight. Arfon took us to a wonderful shaded gorge that was thankfully very empty until the near the end of our time there. beautiful pools of water, carved rock - my favourite! Out next location was more of a walk, and also more of a challenge shoot wise, as it seemed everyone in the North Wales had had the same idea. We still gt a few good shots though and managed to finish off our day with some beautiful portraits by a shaded bridge. Arfo is very easy to get on with and there was lots of chat and banter. I had a really great day and I'm looking forward to sharing the images.

What a lovely person to work with. Made me feel so comfortable and was funny and had a lot of fun. I was really pleased to ask to join the shoot by lora. And poor Arfon had a puncture in his tyre which turned into a horrible ordeal, which meant he wasn’t able to shoot with as for as long as planned, but it was so stressful and completely out of his control and I he handled everything like a professional. But we made up for it in the end. Honestly a lovely gent and so great to work with. And he is so talented . His work speaks wonders. I 110% recommend him. I feel grateful to have met him and work with him along with lora who’s a friend. And I hope Arfon was happy with what we managed to get done in less time that originally planned. Had an amazing time 😄
