Hugh came along to my studio day at Kempston Studio and I'm so glad he did! We shot fashion up to sheer and as you can see from his portfolio, the images look great. The shoot was relaxed and fun and I liked that we experimented with light using a Dobo which made it more interesting. 10/10 recommended, thank you Hugh!

Nice guy, a good photographer, and very pleasant and engaging every time he visits.

Hugh comes with a plan of what he wants to shoot and usually gets the shot plus a bit more.

Hugh booked on the Georgia Mae studio day and although late on he had a few ideas he wanted to execute with Georgia.

Nice guy, good photographer and respectful at all times to his model.

I like Hugh's style of photography as he knows what he likes and keeps it simple in the less is more category and to good effect.

Always good to see Hugh in the studio and always happy to recommend Hugh.

Worked with Hugh on my studio day at Kempston studio, he communicated with me prior to the shoot on anything I needed to bring along with me.

He was on time, polite, respectful and sent me edited images to check I was happy with everything prior to him using them.

had my first group shoot with Hugh Spence. Friendly and welcoming. Pre comms were fantastic. Showed me the images on the back of the camera which is always great. He was informative of what outfits to bring, so I knew the exact plan for the night. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming

Hugh put out a casting for the camera club which I was delighted to come along to. The group were all fantastic, a really lovely bunch of creatives.

Hugh welcomed me and introduced me to everyone and showed me where the changing room was.

We worked through a few different sets and styles, using different lighting; each taking it in turns to take shots. It was lots of fun working with each of them. Some bought along props and others bounced off each other with ideas. Always showing me the boc while working through.

I had a great time at the camera club and look forward to returning in the future

Hugh and the other 9 gentleman were professional, respectful and lots of fun. Each with different personalities, ideas and shoot styles. I have never shot with a camera club or this amount of photographers at once so was an exciting challenge for me. One I enjoyed very much.

I had a lovely last minute group shoot with Hugh and 9 other photographers at Kemspton Studio.

Everyone was extremely friendly and nice, the shoot was very relaxed and just flew by. We had a lot of laugh between the shots, it was all good fun.

This was my first shoot, ever. I had no idea what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. Very professional set up, made me feel at ease straight away and was very patient with me all the way through the session, even when I kept blinking! Also took his time to explain and show me what he was trying to achieve. Very enjoyable evening and I’d definitely recommend working with him.

It was absolutely lovely to see him again and it’s always lovely to see a face you know! Hugh came with plenty of ideas that we worked through and was happy for me to pose and have input with ideas too. After needing to reschedule my shoot with Hugh (due to being covid positive) it was lovely to finally be able to shoot, this time at Potton camera club. Pre-shoot comms were very informative and I knew what to expect on the night.

I worked with several photographers from the club on the night, and was treated with respect, but was also able to chatter and laugh. I saw BOC images and had a lovely evening.
