Artemis Fauna

I have now worked with Ewald both remotely and in person (on a 1-2-1 Artemisian trip to Lanzarote) and I can't recommend him highly enough! We are shooting remotely again soon and figuring out where we might shoot in person next time so I am looking forward to both of those.

Ewald is a very creative photographer and all round lovely person. He is easy to talk too, work with and spend time with.

We have created some wonderful images together in a short space of time- from classic art nude to images with real, genuine emotion in. I felt like I could let go and open up, embracing real tears on the black sand beach shoot in Lanzarote while the rain poured around us- very special.

Ewald is a great communicator and planner but is also happy to listen to the models ideas and go with the natural flow too. A perfect combination.

Ewald has also shared SO many amazing images with me too!

I would highly recommend Ewald.

He came to visit me in spain for several days and rented a room from us with his lovely wife. They were the most wonderful guests and it felt very comfortable to have them stay with me.

As for shooting Ewald was a pleasure to work with as well. He had a lot of different ideas that he prepared very well and also managed to explain to me very well. It was deeply refreshing to get to try all these different things, even some I had never done before. I had a lot of fun with him and also had to laugh a lot at times, while trying all the different concepts.

We spent a lot of time discovering different locations and I am very pleased with the results I have seen so far!

Ewald is a person that really knows their craft and has a lot of expertise, which he is kindly willing to share. I definitely feel I can learn a lot from him and his desire to always push himself further

All in all, I can really recommend him. He is kind and polite and also very fun to be around.

I had my first experience with Ewald as a remote shoot and he was a great partner: extensive and clear communication, kind, patient, really knows his craft, and ready to take the shoot to the next level. It was wonderful to learn about his process and experimentations as well!

Ivory Flame

I have worked with Ewald a number of times both in person in Germany (and France too!) and also remotely during this last year and can absolutely recommend him. Ewald is a very sincere, thoughtful, artistic photographer, who plans photoshoots excellently and really takes them to the next level with concepts, styling or locations. We shot incredible designer corsetry and art nudes in a castle in Germany, stunning wet plate portraits in his studio and gorgeous street fashion on location!

Ewald has also really embraced the remote method, and used it so uniquely, not only shooting digital but also taking polaroids and film images of the screenshare view but also later making wet-plate images, merging old and new techniques with magnificent results!

Ewald's communication is extremely thorough, sending moodboards of his visions, shoot plan, model release in advance... he is professional and considerate during the shoot and makes sure you have everything you need - rest, food, comfort, and he values quality over quantity. He is also very generous to share many stunning images afterwards, which are so appreciated. I've loved creating with Ewald and highly recommend him!
