To say that I enjoyed this shoot would be an understatement!!

Yesterday was my first time working with Mick and truly hope it was the first of many!! We worked together on my studio day at The Kiln and it was such an enjoyable experience!!

After looking at his portfolio, I was delighted when he messaged to book in. As you can already see from his work, he really has a skill when it comes to photography, ensuring the lighting, backgrounds and outfits work perfectly together to get that killer shot!! If you have worked with him before, you will know that he is very kind, professional and gives a lot of encouragement along the way, ensuring he gets the best out of the model that he chooses to work with!!

A brilliant photographer and an even more wonderful person!! I wish we had the whole day to shoot to be honest!!

I highly recommend working with him if you haven't already, you will get some amazing images.... the kind that you will be proud of and have a great time too!!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Mick came back to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with Anna Chum on her two day sod out weekend.

It was a pleasure to welcome Mick back to Basford, he arrived on time with loads of props, clothes and ideas for the shoot. Throughout the shoot time Mick worked really well with Anna and was respectful of her and our location at all times.

Mick is a lot of fun to have around, easy to talk to and we always have a great laugh!! Thanks again Mick, highly recommended and we look forward to seeing you again soon!!

What a fab 1st shoot with Mick! 😁 the shoot was so enjoyable from start to finish and Mick was such a gent and very easy to work with.

Pre comms were spot on, we both discussed what outfits and what kind of theme the shoot was going to be. We shot on the streets of Manchester, which was my 1st time and I absolutely loved it. Mick even offered to get us a warm drink in between shooting.

I couldn't recommend Mick highly enough and I look forward to shooting with him again. Thanks Mick ❤️

Mick organised a shoot with me at Basford Hurst Cottage and after admiring his work for a while I was sooooo pleased that he did!!! All pre comms were great and the shoot was easy to arrange, Mick gave me some clear ideas of what he wanted to shoot but also allowed me to make suggestions along the way.

Mick arrived on time with plenty of outfits and props for the shoot which we definitely put to good use!! We shot through some fashion, art nude and finished with an 'army girl' inspired set with smoke grenades in the garden.

Mick is a lot of fun to shoot with and the conversation is always great!! I received edited images a couple of days after the shoot which I absolutely love and still have plenty to post!! I would highly reccomend Mick and look forward to seeing him again soon!! Thank you Mick! :D

Worked with Mick for the first time, he picked me up from the station when I arrived and dropped me back off, he was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable on the shoot. We shot some edgy fashion and got some great images!

He had great communication and vision from what he wanted from this shoot, had so much fun and we managed to get the sun.

This is probably my 50th shoot with mr.mick (total over exaggeration, but lots) and I very much hope we have many more to come.

Whether we wait a few months or grab 5 shoots in a month I could never get sick of this man, he is such a genuine person with such a keen eye for capturing truly beautiful images!

Mick knows exactly what he is looking for and has a good idea on how it’s going to be achieved, this last shoot was sooo creative and fun - we really did have lots of fun and created EXCEPTIONAL photos in the process.

Can’t wait to catch up again, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for a moment!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

My fourth shoot with mick and this time my partner Brad joined in! We got some absolutely cracking photos and have become quite the trio, mick is always welcome in our home and we love working with him, he makes us laugh and he's always so warm and friendly, all this aside you will be hard pressed to find another tog as good as Mick! My second shoot with Mick and we get on like a house on fire, he's very down to earth always checking that I'm comfortable and felling OK with any suggestions or ideas making sure I'm not uncomfortable. He's funny and friendly and just a really nice guy all round! His photography is second to none and we just seem to get some fantastic shots with little effort, can't wait to work with him again!!!

Had a great first shoot with Michael at a little event in Peterborough for flow state events and it was such a pleasure to work with him.

Not only is Michael warm/friendly/respectful, he is effortlessly good at photography and editing and had countless ideas!

By the end of our shoot (there was a small party of lovely people i know, and Michael had only met that day) everyone was in awe and feeling such a pleasant surprise of how much of a fab personality he was to experience!

Thank you so much for getting in touch and booking me for a home shoot at my house.

While arranging the shoot the communication was clear and straight forward which is something I respond very well too. You arrived at my house on time and ready to shoot.

After a quick brew and a look around the house we began shooting. The time actually flew by on the shoot and 4 hours only felt like 2! At my home you were respectful, polite, chatty, funny, friendly and completely professional at all times.

I would work with you again without hesitation and I don't have a negative thing to say about you or our shoot.
