I started photography with a 35mm Pentax I put as much film through it as I could afford. I got my first digital about 16 years ago, it was not an SLR but I was able to get some really neat shots from places you would not normally stick a camera. Below the flower; from the waist at parties; overhead and different angles. I moved on to a rebel, then a Canon 7D and now have a Canon 5D III. I started shooting artistic nudes about 3 years ago and have some very nice results to show.

Real photography is not just about pointing a camera, set to automatic and clicking. Along with all the technical aspects of shutter speed and apertures, ISO and white balance, there is how you frame the shot, the contrast of the subject, what is your goal. The feel of the picture is as important as what is in the picture. I strive to learn and continue learning as I move from one genre to the other.
