Hello!

I'm a photographer based in Leamington Spa. Photography is more of a passion than a career for me, with my interest being in exploring what I consider a 'technical art'. One of my other hobbies is lighting design for theatre, and I find the two crafts compliment each other very well. My full photography portfolio can be found here: www.michaelwheeldon.co.uk.

Shoot Styles

I'm interested in exploring most styles of shooting, but particularly keen to try shoots/themes that are a little different, shots that capture an emotion or tell a story or shots with interesting lighting excite me the most - please get in touch if you have any ideas you'd like to develop together.

Locations/Availability

I don't really have space to shoot from my home, but I do have occasional access to a studio space in Leamington. I drive and am happy shooting in model's home (even if that means dodging pets from time to time!). Most of my lighting kit is portable so travel isn't really an issue although generally I'd like to keep travel to within about 90 mins drive of Leamington, but if there's something special I'll gladly travel further.

I work full-time so prefer to shoot over the weekends.
